We stumbled upon the Soup Loft during a recent trip to Granville. We tried 2 of the soups and a sandwich and all were delicious. Prices were very reasonable too. Kevin was particularly accommodating to m request for a 1/2 sandwich, and provides a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

I've tried most of the soups and they are all very good. Gazpacho might be my favorite but the chicken/acini is also good. I enjoy their chicken salad. The owner is always there cooking and serving and answering questions, he is a nice guy. Mainly takeout.

The only inconvenience is that there isn't much... More

Good soups and bread. Tried the white bean. It was good and tasted fresh. For me, I would have preferred more salt, but I am post 50 and like a little more salt.

I sometimes forget about this little gem because it's upstairs over Whit's Frozen Custard and shares their entrance, so you can't see the Soup Loft from the street. But go upstairs and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Table seating for a few, and some bar seats by the window, but mostly a take-out place. Homemade soups focusing on seasonal foods grown... More

Absolutely terrific homemade soups and breads - eat-in the upstairs loft above Whit's Frozen Custard or carry out and enjoy at home. Daily specials and always quite delicious!

The soup was hot and very tasty. Just what you would like on a winter's day!
