A treat

A great place for special event, just a little more expensive. But very cost county surroundings, especially in Winter, with warm open fire to welcome you

We had been looking forward to returning to this quaint old pub after great experiences three years earlier, but things were not quite as we had hoped. In short, the wine and main courses we ordered were really excellent. The service and the dessert were rubbish. It was not busy, but it took forever to get served and we had... More

Absolutely lovely looking pub in a nice setting. But that's about all I liked about it. The Fish cake starter was not seasoned, and pretty tasteless. The steak was way over cooked for a medium and was pretty tasteless. Also was very very chewy. The chips were basically packet chips and tasted strange - a really strong oil taste. Also... More

Got recommended the Three Chimneys by the owner of the B & B we were staying at. Found it quite easily. Looked at the menu, which the majority of the dishes were fish based, so that instantly cut down my choices and to be honest the prices were pretty steep and I live London, so I'm used to paying good... I've eaten here three or four times over the past few years, and in the past the food has been fair - nothing special, but perfectly acceptable. This time however the meal was poor. My partner and I both had the steak. At £21 this was on the pricey side by pub standards, but wouldn't have been outrageously so if... More

Dined here recently, great menu with a good variety. Food was very good pub grub but expensive. Place was packed though so obviously they can charge high prices. Good atmosphere, plenty of parking, best local food to Sissinghurst. Nice staff

A lovely characterful pub, with beams, nooks and crannies, but also a large airy restaurant area. Food was well presented, with quick and friendly service. Gastro pub prices but good value, and obviously popular.

After reading such good reviews about this lovely Pub we decided that as we were staying in Biddenden we would give it a go. Unfortunately although the Pub is beautiful the food let it down big time. I ordered the steak, and asked for it to be well done, the steak when it arrived was tasteless, in fact it looked... More

Had similar experience to CDocking in some respects. The place seems to be run by sixth formers who have no idea how to provide service or to handle customers. First they put someone else in the table we had reserved, then we had to go and get the dessert menu the girl promised to bring over to the table (and... More

We loved it here. We had a few drinks to start in the pleasant beer garden and then into the bar area to eat. There was a delay for our food as a large party had turned up just before us, but the manager (I assume) came over, apologised and offered us bread and olives whilst we waited. Lovely place,...
