the Boathouse offers probably the best Sunday Dinner on the whole of the Isle of Wight , with choice of meats , potatoes and vegetables . Their is also the choice of adding a pudding if yoiu wish which are excellent value for money . All in all a very enjouyable experience

I have had the pleasure of both breakfast and the buffet lunch on a lazy Sunday. Both were excellent. Cooked to perfection. The carvery today was exceptional, the beef was tender tasty and perfect. Wide range of vegetables cooked perfectly. Cannot recommend this family run business enough. Very polite and helpful staff, look forward to my next visit. Wide range... More

We stayed at the appartments next door for 2 weeks and had 2 Sunday carverys. Both were excellent and plentiful. Also the burgers are the leanest burgers you could wish for; no fat at all. Views over the Solent to Lymington brilliant, just ask for a conservatory table. Great service, nothing too much trouble, Excellent

We have been to the boathouse a few times now for lunch and every time has been outstanding, great priced food and drink and also a draft lager and bitter available at reasonable prices. Me and my friend had the burger stack which was very tasty containing lots of flavor. The helpful staff were also very polite and friendly. The views... More

This place has sadly gone down hill since the change of ownership. Today we had lunch at the Boathouse, my husband's burger tasted nasty, cheap and what resembled cat food. The previous owners made their own burgers, which were in a different league. We also witnessed the boss/owner speak rudely and aggressively to a young male member of staff who... More

We enjoyed the Sunday carvery during a recent week's holiday. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent and reasonably priced. And we appreciated the thoughtfulness of a member of staff who offered to get a bowl of water for our dog. Although we only had one meal here, we would thoroughly recommend a visit. And sitting outside and... More
