Great fun food in a friendly atmosphere

Fresh food straight to your table for you to cook as you want. Service is quick and friendly. We had mixed sea food and fillet steak and thought they were excellent. Comes with unlimited fries and Greek salad so i'd be impressed if you need a desert. It's not cheap (£22 for steak and £20... read more

Our first visit, very much to see 'What all the fuss was about' Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. The staff tip to cut the steak into pieces and cook separately was a good one but no matter how good the meat is it is difficult to cut when raw. I hate skinny fries, they go cold and soggy very quickly.... More

A welcome return here...we were a large and quite loud party (in a good way)...the young, bright staff were brilliant and handled us well....and the food was superb as always... The good news about the restaurant is that you can never blame the chef !

We hadn't been here before so did not know what awaited us when we arrived. You each cook your own meat on a sizzling hot stone square that is placed on the table in front of you. The meat is accompanied by a bowl of salad and a bowl of skinny chips - everyone gets this. The waiting staff are... More

I booked a table months ago for a group, had a confirmation etc. But seems they didn't have my booking. OK this happens, but the manager seemed to think it was my fault! With no apology. Still not tried the food here, and it is now OFF my list. Had a great meal at The Kings Head pub, welcoming, friendly... More

Dear Sir You may find bullying and abusive behaviour acceptable. I on the other hand do not !! I respectfully ask you not to behave like that again in my restaurant . You did not have a booking with us and unfortunately for you , shouting and being aggressive towards my staff is never going to change that !! You... More

A must for any steak lover, cook it how you like it, on your own hot stone. Thoroughly recommend the chateaubriand :)

We've been twice to this restaurant and both times it is not a disappointment. Service with a smile, always, from genuine local staff and a vast knowledge of the menu. This isn't a traditional restaurant so prepare to read the menu from the walls that surround you, the styling is a seaside theme with a rustic feel. Hot plate steaks... More

The food here is very good, the cook it yourself idea novel and interesting. The real problem is that you need to wear your gardening clothes to dine as after two hours, you come away smelling like you've been on the hob yourself. I love the food, the service is typical Island, a little hit and miss, mostly friendly young... More

Went there without a booking and tried our luck but it was fully booked. I left my number with them in case of a cancellation and got a call soon after offering a table. Staff were very efficient and friendly and the food was excellent. Love the concept of the hot brick to cook your steak on and was shocked... More
