Came here with my husband, father and mother-in-law for a weeknight supper. Fantastic food, as usual and very good service. One tiny niggle.. the room was often filled with thick smoke as the large quantity of rocks cooking food were all smoking and the air was not being removed. Some extractor fans would be simple and ideal to quickly shift... More

It's simple, the ingredients are tops, not much to go wrong really. If you fancy a simply meal of this type they tick all the boxes. Chips are tops, salad good and fresh, wine list fine. Enjoy but do book.

Loved this place. Simple and relaxed. great steak, lamb and scallops and cooking it to your own taste on a hot stone is spot on. We even looked at getting some stones when we got home (bit pricey!). Very relaxed atmosphere, good service. Would definitely go back.

We all really enjoyed this restaurant . It was a different concept with a buzzing atmosphere , the scallops and prawns were delicious and plentiful The steaks were great quality. It was easy to cook everything as the rocks surprisingly stayed hot for 45 minutes. Plentiful fries and a really good salad. It was fun and good value We will... More

This is a most visit restaurant. Such a great idea, it is pricey but it is worth every penny. You do need to pre book as it took us a couple of days before we managed to get a table.

Our crew hungry and fresh from days at sea were looking for something different in terms of eating experience. Of the many restaurants to consider this one indeed appear to fit the bill! On booking for 7 pm we were told we had to vacate our table by 9 but to be fair it was a Bank Holiday. However we pressed... More

As soon as you enter this buzzy and busy restaurant you are tempted by the array of mouthwatering steaks and seafood. The young team are professional and charming. Yummy bread and dips, jugs of iced water provided without hesitation. The choice then - succulent steaks or seafood selection, go for the surf and turf and have both, you won't be... More

We were a party of six and had a really great meal here, the staff were all very friendly and really helped to make the experience an enjoyable one. All the food was terrific and the Salt Marsh Lamb that I had was delicious. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for the staff and the service was great, my son... More

When we all arrived we were seated quickly and drinks order taken They had lovely rustic bread and balsamic/v.oil dip on the table. The place was busy and plenty of staff all taking orders. Our table of 13 chose the meat and fish that was going on the hot rock. We had plentiful greek salads and bowls of frites on... More

On the Rocks has to be one of my favourite restaurants on the island, the quality of the meat and fish is fantastic, served with lovely rustic bread, salad and all you can eat chips it is a total experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I absolutely recommend on the rocks to anyone visiting the island!
