Great location, easy to park. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in the sun, with our dog & enjoy great food. The waitress was a real credit to the place, friendly, cheerful & looked after us well. Can't wait to go back.

We ate here on Saturday lunch after getting off the Ferry from Portsmouth, after I remembered an earlier visit . Service was good under circumstances (group of pushy 22 arrived before us ) and waitresses did what they could . We had crab sandwiches and starters to share . Food was good but not all it should be given location... More

We ate dinner here after completing the walk around the Isle of Wight. I had the chicken pie on mash and it was very good!My wife had a pasta dis that she enjoyed a lot. The portions were hearty!

Just moved to the Island and was looking for a local pub for regular meals (weekly). The pie of the day, chicken, bacon, leek just looked like slop and was tasteless, my daughter's fish and chips was all batter and skin ,hardly any fish as it had obviously been cut off a bigger fish. Fish pie was ok. Some friendly... More

Peas were frozen peas, Chips were frozen chips, Scampi was frozen scampi. Nothing wrong in that, in a cheap establishment but certainly not for the prices they charge.

We chose this pub / hotel some months ago for our first visit to the island. The room - there are only 4 I think, was delightful, overlooking the Solent, where you can watch the cruise ships and ferries go by whilst sitting in your bay window with a cuppa! The room was beautifully appointed, very modern and fresh and... More

Following endless traffic on ill maintained roads and endless rain, I feared what I was told was a Gastro Pub. This was excellent. Attentive staff, the best steak for quality, flavour and tenderness I have had in ages, deliciously garnished with mixed cherry tomatoes and button mushrooms. Fresh Crab Salad, superb Fish Pie and the children were well catered for.... More

Nice spot on the seafront in Seaview. If you're lucky you'll get to see some ocean liners passing out of Southampton. We booked in with a friend for an evening meal. Staff were fine and the drinks selection is good. Our order consisted of a fish pie and sausage and mash. The food was fine and the service good and... More

We called in for a drink one evening and noticed the lovely food being served so booked a table for the next evening. We're glad we booked as it was full. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Plenty of seafood on the menu amongst other things. Average price. The food was very tasty, large portions and worth the wait.... More

A disappointing experience. To their credit, the manager apologised for a breakdown in service and cited a shortage of trained staff, but that is simply no excuse. We took our pre-dinner drinks to the table and the empty glasses remained there until we left. Additionally no attempt was made to even wipe down the table. . We ordered white wine and... More
