Great location overlooking the East Solent. Food was OK - bit overcooked. Wine prices were far too high - annoying high mark up on average wine.

I had the best G&T I've ever had with a delicious meal looking out over the sea with my fiancee. There's not much better than that.

Had a wonderful lunch here yesterday with two friends over from the mainland for the day. We all had the scallop starter, two of us asked to have it without the bacon and this was no trouble at all for them, the scallops were tender and the Island bread came with tasty dipping oils. We all had different fish dishes... More

Looking for a meal that was above average, so was very pleased with the evening. Good service, window table with glorious view of the Solent. Good choice on the Menu, and our choices were excellent. Have had Mitchen dishes which have been inferior to our dishes. Pudding came with a birthday candle, subtle but recognising a special meal. Good choice... More

Went for lunch today. Great stuff. Good views from the balcony, terrific service. Kids menu is good and they are well catered for. Has the beef and chorizo burger from the specials board but all the food on offer sounds terrific. Had some lovely curious beer on recommendation and this was tasty too. Not cheap but good value.

The food here was great, really lovely. They also have a pretty good specials board too. The view is great, very tranquil compared to the main part of the town. My only gripe is that although the service was charming and very friendly, the menus could be delivered to the table a little sooner - it was 10 minutes from... More
