Went in especially for breakfast at about 11am. The bar person was friendly and offered the best choice of coffee, which was free refillable. The breakfast was well cooked, nicely presented and fast service. The waitress was attentive and smiley. The tables were clean. Very good value for money.

I came here with a group of 8 friends for a cheap meal out together. When we arrived, some of the tables were left dirty, with no sign of anyone to clean them up. They were left this way for a good 20 minutes or so. When ordering food, we did order together. The bar staff were very polite and... More

Muddled food by kitchen but rectified by bar staff - this visit was marred by a severely learning disabled man screaming and shouting almost continuously and was not supported by his 2 carers. As a LD experienced health care professional I understand diversity but this was beyond any acceptable behaviours . I can see it would have caused adverse media... More

Last night of the short break and looking for a meal to go out on. Went to somewhere that had been recommended but the daily menu did not inspire and the other supposed fine dining options were closed. If it's Tuesday, it's steak night at Wetherspoon's so went for the comfort food option. Very good value for money and 'served... More

Chicken club paying extra for seasonal chips wasted of time meal all okay but as a coffee drinkers I hate the fact I paid for a large latte and only get half a coffee and when you ask to fill the coffee cup please there look at you as you got two heads. But if you ask to top up... More

Had 2 hours to kill before the ferry home so came in for an early tea. Salmon and baked potato very nice, but my husband had fish and chips, gave me half the fish, and it was very very nice, so I wish I'd had that! Staff attentive, pub had good atmosphere, so I would recommend it.

Just like any other wetherspoons pub! Food was good, the burgers are lovely. Drinks nice and cheap, staff friendly. Only criticism is maybe wipe the tables down a bit more often and give the place a good clean up (there was quite a bit of food on the floor). Other than that small complaint, a good experience.
