Best Sunday lunch in Ryde!

Popped in on the off chance for a Sunday lunch, they were busy but happily offered us a seat in their lovely restaurant. Service was fast and prompt despite being busy! Omg we were so surprised, the roast was amazing! Meat was perfectly cooked and presented and came with homemade Yorkshire and a... read more

My wife and I found that we were the only patrons when we decided on eating here therefore we had excellent service, well until the rugby tour came through the door but it never put us off. The food was really good. We shared a starter that would of been enough for a family of 4 and it was delicious.... More

We spent the day in Ryde at the beach and for lunch stepped into Joes. First off, the service is impeccable. The lunch menu has a broad range of choices and is reasonably priced. Would gladly visit again.

Myself and 3 ladies popped in for a light lunch and a glass of wine to celebrate after a successful wedding dress shop in Ryde! The bar and restaurant were quiet, with about 3 other tables full, and already eating. We order 4 panini's and 3 bowls of chips. After about 25 minutes we had to chase them to see... More

Popped into have a drink this afternoon late. The person behind the bar was so young? a schoolgirl it seemed? she address my husband with a question and answer. "what do you want? there is no chef, he is sick , so there is no food here"....... What is that? disgraceful. A customer at the bar felt so sorry for... More

So, I came to Joes with my two hungry boys on a quiet Friday night in March. Having been here several times in 2014 and enjoyed the burgers and £10 specials on Mondays & Thursdays, I have to say that the place was disappointing. A new owner has come in, the menu has changed and there is not that much... More

For the first time ever I walked out of somewhere before even ordering food. I`d booked a table for 4 a month previous as my daughter and her boyfriend were down for the weekend and to be fair they did say there would be a roast available plus anything else if we wanted it on the day. When we turned... More

I went here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon after a wedding dress fitting on the same street. The menu was alright and the prices fairly average. The good points were that the pulled pork panini was pretty good, as was the side salad. Bad points were that our drinks took longer to come than the food! The... More

Ok so I didn't have plaice but the beer battered cod was cooked to perfection! Chunky chips and buttered peas to accompany and hey presto you've a traditional English meal how it should be! Well presented and warm service. Excellent value for money... Keep up the good work!!
