We went into the restaurant to have our meal. The order was taken by a very happy and friendly young lady. Our food arrived quickly. It was lovely and hot and there was plenty of both fish and chips. A glass of wine was quicky served as well. An excellent meal, good value for money all served in a lovely... More

You know what I miss the most after having been diagnosed as a coeliac three years ago? You guessed it - Fish n Chips! We were amazed to see Corries Cabin, bearing in mind we were hobbling around after doing the IOW Challenge and just wanted to find anywhere we could sit down. Saw the words gluten free and couldn't... More

My family and I visited Corries Cabin over the August bank holiday. The fish was excellent and the batter was so light. I normally feel sick after eating fish and chips because of the high fat content. I'm pleased to say that I felt absolutely fine after eating here. I will certainly be returning. The staff were very friendly and... More

This is an inexpensive, friendly fish and chip shop with a small restaurant. The fish was delicious, very hot and the chips were perfect. Okay, there isn't a lot of room in the restaurant but we were made to feel welcome and the service was very quick. Would definitely go back.

We had a take-away saved for our last day,Thursday 28th August, around 5.30pm. 1 small cod, small chips and 1 large cod, regular chips, and had to wait for hubbys large cod to be cooked - not a problem, having... Good food, but not worth the money they charge for it! Appeared to be the only place open on a Sunday evening, so maybe a lack of competition is the problem?

Excellent fish and chips served in a traditional cafe style. No frills are neede with such good food. The fish was meaty and the batter crispy and not oily. The chips were also really good, freshly prepared and cooked very well. Good staff witha friendly manner hlp to make this a good venue. Fish and chips isn't cheap anywhgere these... More

Arriving in Cowes for the first night of our holiday from the mainland, we were recommended this resturant as the best fish and chips in the IOW. They did deliver. Our food was well cooked and brought to the table relatively quick, and in big portions. The desserts, although only 3 options i think, were all on point (as a... More
