Too lazy to cook so hubby fetched fish and chips - so glad that he did - I rarely eat them, so they were even more enjoyable - certainly the best fish I have tasted for a long time - the batter could have been a little lighter though!

Homemade Tartar sauce was very nice as well as the free lemon slice. The only thing that let it down was the chips, undercooked (in our opinion) soggy and poor on the whole. Could've caught them at a bad time, fish was fine.

A very nice place to go for a quick lunch. Bright and airy with very friendly staff. The portions are huge so you may need to ask for a doggy bag.

Very light crispy fresh batter enclosing succulent, juicy, tasty fish with crisp, dry chips, fluffy on the inside with a good salad and fresh bread and butter. Brilliant. Good friendly service too - who could wish for more? Thank you all at Corries Cabin for a super fish supper.

Great fish and chips. Great location in the middle of town. Eat in or out always consistent and a good feed, and to take back to the boat

Strangely empty on a Saturday night, the restaurant area was nonetheless comfortable and well-lit. The fish and chips we ordered was excellent, with tasty cod and batter alongside well-cooked and succulent chips. The deserts were nice too, and our waitress was both very friendly, attentive and professional. The venue also serves alcohol and caters for small children with games, toys... More

Worst pie and chips ever. Saturday night at 8pm. Soggy chips and very much dried out chicken and mushroom pie. Pies not on display so can't look first. Suspect microwaved from earlier batch.

There was a long queue that greeted me turning the corner in Cowes' centre. With the heavy rain falling as well as hundreds of drunken Cowes' Week party people, it didn't sound like a great plan to queue up to wait for some fish and chips at Corries. However, I had read the reviews (newspapers, tripadvisor, etc.) and knew that... More
