I have been going to sails cafe in cowes for some years now. I always go back there when visiting cowes as the staff are very friendly, they make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble if you want something a little different. And the good is cooked fresh to order and I have never been disappointed. My last... More

We went into Sails cafe for a quick light bite to eat. Sensibly priced, polite and helpful staff. My eggs royale were absolutely fab, perfectly cooked. My wife had a ham and cheese sandwich which I finished and it was excellent too. Great place.

After a long day walking around Cowes my partner and I simply wanted a couple of baguettes with drinks. Sails is not like the big coffee chain establishments-more of your traditional British cafe and thus the service tends to be so much more friendlier. I wanted a cheese and pickle baguette but noticed there was just cheese on the menu... More

This is not a high quality cuisine establishment, but the food cooked her is done well and every time I eat here, the portions are generous and the food tastes wonderful. Fresh soup is prepared every day, as well as a breakfast, coffee, hot drinks and a selection of lunches. Unfortunately they don't open for food later than 3.

Its very difficult to get great fish and chips now days but its possible from corries. The fish is always substantial and the batter light and crisp. I must admit I have often sneaked a cod and chips and told the wife I had Banana and yoghourt , hope she doesn't read this.

Since having a boat based in Cowes we have very often taken breakfast and or lunch here. The food is properly prepared for you as you order by very nice friendly staff. The soups and pannini are excellent as are the crab sandwiches when available.

Only stopped here for a coffee. Have to say it was not that great, it was very bitter and had dregs in the bottom of the cup.

Walked around centre of Cowes looking for a waterfront cafe without success so came slightly inland and were left with a choice between Tiffin and Sail and chose the latter because it looked bright and decorated in a way fitting of a coastal resort but also advertised crab on the boards outside. Quite a small shop but got a table... More

Recently visited with friends before heading on the ferry home from our holiday on the Island. There were 9 of us in total including two children, most of us had the breakfast and we all commented on how nice it was, good quality bacon and sausages. Staff were friendly. A toilet would of been a great help as we had... More
