Lovely little cafe in the High Street

From the outside the cafe doesn't look much, but step inside and get a real welcome from the two ladies in there. The food was freshly prepared and we didn't have to wait too long either. Well worth a visit.

Sadly there isn't a "good" option on Trip advisor, you are offered to mark as average....or very good. Nothing in-between! Well, it's better than "average"...but I couldn't just mark it as "very good" compared to the many others we have used on our travels. From the street the windows were so steamed up we hesitated whether to go in at... More

Arrived mid afternoon met with a welcoming smile and "hello please take a seat and I will be right over". Had a coffee and slice of homemade rose and pistachio cake….absolutely delicious. Will be back to try the breakfast!

Great friendly service, fabulous breakfast that accommodated all of our requirements, even though we all wanted variations of the full English!

We had afternoon tea at this lovely little cafe in Cowes High St - freshly baked scones and really friendly service. The kids loved the Malteser milk- shakes.

How refreshing it is to stumble across an enticing little place which offers all that you would want for an unfussy, light lunch. After walking along the promenade from Gurnard to Cowes we were ready for just that. We bagged the single outside table with its world map top and the two chairs. The blackboard announced the day's soup (watercress)... More

Found by accident while waiting for a ferry today. Service is excellent and the food is above par for a small cafe. Great range of baguettes/sandwiches/paninis and other cafe food. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry baguette and it was excellent. They clearly use quality ingredients and the kitchen is visible from the dining area so you can see... More

New owners are obviously trying very hard to create a friendly atmosphere and serve good food. Good job and much needed on the IOW.

Good coffee and a lovely welcome. Attentive yet discreet service. Planned on a quick coffee but stayed for 3 hours, watching the world go by.

Just spent a lovely afternoon with friends in this little treasure. Staff were helpful and friendly with quick service. We were made very welcome and never were made to feel we had to eat and get out. Nice menu with plenty of choice. I had panini which was served quickly and was hot. Would recommend as a nice relaxing place.
