Called in here midweek in January and it was very quiet, only 1 or 2 other people in the pub. We ordered lunch, a sandwich (brown baguettes were off), Steak and ale pie, chilli burger and Union burger. There is quite a selection of pies and burgers on offer. The food generally was pretty good except the chips were poor,... More

We had seafood chowder, homemade burgers, baguettes and goujons. Fab start to the New Year celebrations. Will definitely return when we visit friends... More
