It's a great shame how greediness for profit can out weigh goodwill and customer service. We ordered a full English breakfast and asked if we could swap the fried bread for mushrooms, the answer was no unless we wanted to be charged an additional amount. We then asked if we could have our eggs poached but no we had to... More

Top quality food, hot and served with a smile. I love this place. Being served promptly, properly and having food arrive hot and well cooked has to be the top priority. You DON'T have to wait ages, get ripped off or have cold or badly cooked meals here. Yum yum yum, nom nom nom.

Firstly, if you want fine dining, then don't go here ! ! IF you want pleasant staff, tasty and a cheap bite to eat, then get in here ! I personally have a big appetite, so always get a big portion of whatever i've ordered, and have never been let down. Situated not far from the Red Jet to Southampton,... More

Went here with friends who are locals and have been here before. I asked where was good for breakfast and they both immediately suggested here. Had the bonanza breakfast, it was really good, really big, and I got a certificate for completing it, which is a novel, man vs food type idea. They do a good variety of breakfasts and... More

Called in here on a cold October morning with my sister and a friend. Very clean and friendly place. We all had poached eggs on toast which were cooked to perfection and nice and hot. I had tea which had a saucer on top of the cup to keep it hot and put the used teabag on, excellent idea .... More

visited this café 16th October 2013, and had the worst fish and chips ever, the fish was a frozen fillet, deep fried, and tasted very poor quality. The bread and butter which was part of the meal deal had mould growing on the side of it. we complained and it was replaced but the bread still tasted stale, with a... More

As with most things in Cowes, the cafe is tied to the sea, the local life boat and sailing around the Isle. We were here in the off season so it was quiet but the service was polite, the brekkie was huge and the price reasonable. They do cater for every appetite but I think "The Big One" might kill... Eegon goes on and on....bless him! Best bacon buttie in town. Good breakfasts to cater for all sizes of appetite, and Eegons will be open when all else is close in the mornings. Fast service. Totally reliable.

We are refurbishing a flat close to Eegons and were in need of a well cooked simple meal. The "all day" breakfast at a very reasonable price hit the spot! The service was good and the food freshly cooked. The chef even took the time to come and speak to us regarding the fact that one of us is a... More
