Lovely building

Great cafe with lovely coffee and good choice of art available to purchase. It is a shame they do not cater for people with allergies, as there was nothing I could eat I doubt I will return.

Lovely building with a nice selection of refreshments. Was a little lacking in atmosphere when we were in, could have heard a pin drop! But was the end of the day and the low season so can't hold it against the place too much.

A very pleasant and unusual venue with cheap prices for coffee, tea and hot chocolate and a lively, polite and effective service. Housed in one of Cowes' most interesting buildings, it's also a unique place to visit, with its impressive 1920s stained glass fittings and the walls doubling up as an arts showroom. (I also recommend the ginger cookies! Moist,... More

The building is wonderful but is It a coffee shop or a shop selling art. I don't think the owners knows or cares as the service is very poor. Needs a new owner and total revamp as it could be so nice.

some spot for a quiet artisan coffee - place is run by a genuine character, and it shines through in the decor and the coffee try the filled rolls.... they're delicious!

Great atmosphere, lovely art on the walls and a staff willing to answer this tourists questions. The coffee was delicious to keep me coming back for more and a nice little assortment of baked goods.

This is a quirky place to stop for a coffee and cake, delicious cake even though it was straight after a bank holiday weekend and there did not seem too much left the coffee was nice and the guy behind the counter was friendly and polite

Pop into jolliffes on a regular basis, and there is always a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. One of the few cafés where customers actually engage, with large amounts of banter and chat. Great having excellent coffee and cake whilst sitting in beautiful surroundings- lovely images by local artists.

Popped in today for coffee while we were out shopping in Cowes. Despite it being empty apart from one customer, my wife, who had elected to get the coffee, stood waiting for 10 minutes while the assistant (manager perhaps?) talked non stop to the other customer while making our coffee. Not a word of recognition or apology for the wait... More
