High Quality Food & Good Service

We selected this restaurant based on the menu posted outside and weren't disappointed. The specials menu was even better. I had the crab pate and and coley with lobster sauce, both very rich and splendid. Strangely we were the only diners there, and speaking to our waiter, the business seems to be... read more

Having lived in Cowes for over ten years this was our first visit to Murrays, What have been missing. Excellent food, courteous service and a must place to visit. We will certainly return.

Absolute first class service and beautifully, freshly prepared food. Reasonable pricing whether you're buying food or drink. Fish mainly on the menu, but tonnes of other options for anyone who isn't a fan. So don't be put off by the 'seafood' title. Definitely recommend anyone and will certainly be going again in the near future.

I went with 12 friends for a Christmas reunion. There was a table reserved for us in the back room, nicely decorated, with crackers. We all decided to eat off the set menu, 2 courses for £18:50, 3 courses for £21:00 and ordered drinks individually. There was only one person serving because the other person was out shopping - for... More

took my company there for our christmas party on the weekend. all 12 of us felt the food was absolutely amazing and loved it and will all be returning shortly. I had the pork loin and the meal has to be the best pork lion i have had at a restaurant. Between the 12 of us we had a vast... More

Warm and friendly family run business. The menu also includes tasty meat and traditional dishes but the fish we had was exceptional.

We had dinner here last week. 3 course menu for £21 or 2 for £18. Really good value. Fab fish soup served with rouille, croutons and shredded cheese. I then had steak and my wife had a haddock and spinach dish. Both really good, and steak cooked medium rare just as I requested. Plenty of nice vegetables served with them,... More

We also used the Proce is Wight vouchwers so for value the meal could not be beat. However it did not help we were sat on our own, the service was ok but the waiter had very little to do, the food ok but not really our style, lots of butter. Nothing was wrong, but it was not a memorable... More

I dined here with my wife on a Friday night in November when Cowes in pretty quiet. We had a nice table in the window and the whole experience was delightful. Good service, attentive but without rushing us. I had calamari and my wife had Japanese prawns, in crumb with a dipping sauce, for starters. My wife chose the Isle... More

We visited Murrays as a party of 12 (including 5 children) whilst on holiday in the IOW. We had pre booked, which I think was probably sensible for a party of this size as the restaurant is on the small side. Service was quick and friendly and the food was really enjoyed by everyone, the only criticism I would make... More
