Average visit to a Beefeater

A party of 5 visited for dinner. Waitress was friendly. Drinks took 10 minutes to arrive. We chose the value dinner menu for 3 courses £14.99. Very reasonable and all the items I wanted were on this menu. My prawn cocktail came with bread and it was hard (not good). My rib eye steak was chewy... read more

This was our second visit thought We would give it another try and just put the last bad experience down as a one off but once again the lager was flat, worst pint of guiness I have ever had, the food was very poor

Went in on a Sunday and the place was understandably very busy. I'd only been here once before and had had no complaints whatsoever. However on this Sunday the service was hit and miss - waitress was lovely but clearly over worked and not very sure of the menu. Food all tasted fine but the roasts were MINISCULE... smaller than... We came here for breakfast recently and I can honestly say, never again. It felt like we had taken an inadvertent mini break for what should have been, just a quick breakfast! The amount of times we were swiftly avoided by the waitresses was shocking, especially when trying to make eye contact, 'Yoo hoo Over here!' I felt that they... More

My fiancé took me here one day out of the blue and first impressions were quite good. The decor and everything was lovely. The first waiter we had was very good quickly brought drinks over and seemed to enjoy her job. The waiter that took our food orders though seemed to hate every second because she had a face of... Having not been to the Crows Nest for a long time we went with family (all adults), I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of food. The steaks were very good and the service was also good. In fact we have been back twice since. When ever we have been the place has been busy but the standard of the... More

I loved the crows nest. My meal was lovely with the waiting time for the next course not taking too long. The staff were lovely and it was evident that they were trying their best to provide the best customer service possible. The only downside is that they forgot one of our starters and took s while to get it... More

Another good value breakfast and the children ate for free. They love helping themselves to the cereals fruit salad etc. The cooked breakfast were lovely. Didn't like the coffee. Our dinner on boxing day was also lovely especially the rib eye steak. Friendly and polite staff.
