Came here for breakfast and dinner while staying at The Premier Inn next door. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of continental as a buffet and full English cooked to order, as much or little as you wanted. Dinner was very good, although service was a little slow but again all cooked to order so to be expected. I... More

This is a dab location stunning views and good parking if you want to have a drink in a nice spot go ahead. What to order some food well this was our family's experience. We looked at the menue when showed to a booth but everything that was on there was pretty much next to me on the walls. We... More

It is difficult to fairly rate this restaurant as the numerous times I have visited always leaves me with a sense of "told you so". Succinctly, the food is generally always scrumptious though perhaps meagre in thoughtful presentation and portion but these tiny negatives are overwhelmingly surpassed by the lack of attention and general ineptness of staff. In the ten... More

Yet again nobody seems to know what they are doing, ordering took ages as no one seems to know how to use the reward vouchers,(train the staff how to use them),the bar staff do there best, but need more people with experience, the food is ok,it is a Beefeater&so menu is kept to a minimum, maybe those at Whitbread need to read what there... OK - it's a Beefeater, and generally it does what it says on the tin. Reasonably priced and most food is pretty tasty and normally pleasantly served. But, why does it seem you rarely get a steak - of any cut - that is both tender and tasty. It is either one or the other, but never both! So my... More

We visited today, 4 adults & 4 children. Had a lovely welcome into the restaurant, but there was a wait of 40 mins for a table at lunchtime, fair enough! We decided to spend that time in the large outdoor area for the children to play. As we walked through the restaurant, only a third of the tables were occupied,... More

Dined here with my Mum on a Wednesday evening and we both had 3 courses from the Evening Value Menu which was £14.79 each. I had garlic bread to start and my Mum had the crispy garlic and herb breaded mushrooms - both were lovely. For mains I had the 6oz flat iron steak with peppercorn sauce and skinny fries... More

We have visited this restaurant several times over the past few years. Really noticeable that although the staff try hard there don't seem to be enough of them. We went last night, had to wait 30 minutes but as we hadn't booked and it was busy that wasn't a problem. Manager or Assistant shows us to the table, asks if... More

8 of us went out to celebrate 2 family birthdays, including my dads 80th. What a waste of time, money and petrol. 30 minutes to get served at bar. Food cold. Waitress comment 'I'm sorry.' No offer of replacement meal or reduction of bill. We had to go to bar to get our drinks as no waitress to ask .... More
