Pre-booked dinner early for 6.00pm for 17 people. Our friends 60th birthday. Arrived happy to find 3 separate tables. Moved them together so we could celebrate together. A rather annoyed manager revealed his anger at this. He continued to show his annoyance to our group within the restaurant and from behind the bar. Extremely unprofessional. The atmosphere had then been... More

On visiting the area we decided to pop in on the off chance having previously consulted your reviews. We had high expectations only to be thoroughly disappointed. We use trip advisor a great deal and have not been let down in the past. We found the bar extremely difficult to get to as we could not get through the crowd... More

Not having been 'up the Junction' for a couple of years was delighted to find it much improved. The menu was quite extensive and our choices were well cooked and presented. The staff very friendly and not over-attentive, though at hand when required. Everything nice and clean with lovely fresh spring flowers on the tables and restrooms. Very pleasant experience... More

We went for an Anniversary dinner, and it was one of the best anniversarys we have had! The food was like something you see in a fancy food magazine and was so very tasteful!! The staff were so friendly and you really get a sense that they are like a family! Fab choice of ales and lovely cozy little restaurant!!... More

Lovely Inn by the Grand Union canal lots of seats outside but a bit cramped inside. The menu is quite extensive. You can't just have a sandwich it comes with a choice of either soup, Chips or salad at £7.50. I tried the Brie with red current jelly and soup. Both were fresh and deliciously different They have a good... More

This is the third time we visit this pub, as we often kayak on the Canal. It provides a welcome break! The food is always superb, the sandwiches are made from lovely fresh granary bread, the ham is proper fresh cut thick slices. My friends had the haddock and chips and it was the best I've ever seen; I pinched... More

Arrived at 12.35 pm and was warmly welcomed from by staff behind the bar. Ordered drinks and food and went to a table. Two couples came in 10 minutes and 20 minutes after us after us and were served before us which was disappointing as we had ordered from the blackboard and assumed these were standard dishes. Our food arrived... More

To be honest when the sun came out today after 'Armageddon' of late the first thing that came to my mind was 'get your boots on family we're making the most of this day, and that means 'Lakes, Walk, and the GJA. We got there and it was warm enough to sit in the sun but not quite warm enough... More
