We visited the Garden Tea Room at the weekend for lunch and really enjoyed both the food and the comfortable and traditional setting. The service from the young waitress was very good, she was courteous and attentive.

This is a treasure of a place with a lovely warm atmosphere - complete with log fire when occasion demands - and a wonderfully 'retro' feel. Excellent coffee and, most importantly, the best scones (as in 'cream tea') for miles around. The window seat is definitely worth nabbing if it's free!

I was in Hereford having the car serviced and decided that a trip out for a bit of shopping and lunch was on the cards. I looked at Leominster and this little place popped up as number 1 on trip advisor, so I thought I would take a punt. We ordered a Panini (Ham, Brie and Caramelised onions) which tasted... More

We stumbled across this quaint little place on route to wales... we had previously joked about knocking on someones door and asking for a spot of lunch, when we spotted the garden tea room. We were greeted by a friendly lady who lead us into her dinning room where we were met with tea and saucers laid out beautifully and... More

I needed cheering up so my lovely husband took me here for a light lunch. Duck terrine was first-rate. It was the second time I'd been and the standard was just as high on both occasions. The only thing that could have been even better was the peppermint tea - leaf tea rather than a teabag would have been even... More

Stopped for lunch today and had a lovely time. A quirky yet comfortable setting with the most pleasant and very helpful waitress. I was spoilt for choice, but ordered a main course which I wasn't aware (because I didn't ask!!), contained red peppers. I cannot eat peppers and when I informed the waitress of this, she simply asked me if... More

Called in for a lunch time snack, disappointed first time as closed on Mondays even though all the signs were out. Food was very good and the scones were just the best.

Hi Kerry I am so glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea with us here at The Garden...Bethanya takes great pleasure in serving her customers with a smile especially in this lovely weather. There is nothing better than seeing all our customers enjoying their light lunches or afternoon teas in our garden watched by the bantams and Wesley the cat. I... More

Put simply, it is a beautiful village (Think Midsummer Murders or Miss Marple territory) with lots of wisteria and beams on houses on display. We enjoyed a lovely cream tea (perfect cuppa) on a hot day and all thoroughly enjoyed it. The building is very historic in feeling and design with a remarkably smart interior. Food excellent and great service. The... More

I am so glad you and your friends enjoyed your visit to The Garden. Our cream teas are a great favourite, I think it is the combination of Granny Bruce's delicious scone recipe and the local raspberry jam with lashings of clotted cream that seems to do the trick. As well as our usual times we will be OPEN on... More
