Lovely meal, atmosphere and view

This is a lovely vegetarian restaurant with a nice view of the canal to watch as you dine. There is a good choice of starters and main meals. They also serve alcohol, which not all veggie restaurants do. The desserts looked nice as well, but we couldn't manage one after our starter and main course

I found this restaurant via Tripadvisor, so a big thanks to all my fellow reviewers out there. Set on the Grand Canal at the Apsley Marina the location is very relaxing. The menu is exclusively vegetarian, specialising in crepes and pizza's but there is also a daily blackboard of specials - Mexican spicy soup, and a vegetable curry we the... More

Went to woodys with friends for supper. Service was excellent and the food was uniformly well presented, tasty and good value. House wines also very acceptable. Only fault was the tiny size of the portion of garlic bread; £3.80 a time equivalent to £1000 per sq mtr ridiculously small. You can do better than that woodys!!

I've been to this restaurant many times over some years and have never been disappointed. Also, I don't remember every writing a review before! On this last occasion I had lunch with a friend, gorging on a full 3 courses. We each had different dishes and we both enjoyed every dish each of which was well presented and tasty. Service... More

I first stumbled upon this wonderful café by accident when walking along the canal. I therefore suggested it as a place for me and my friends to meet for a late dinner. The service is always good and the staff are polite. You would never know the food is vegetarian/vegan - you don't miss the meat! On this occasion I... More

I'm not a vegetarian but i really enjoyed the place and the food. Very casual but comfortable with a good range of fresh food with a little difference.

Food lovely, but service is sooooo bad. Eveyone seems really nice but all seem in their own little world.... Takes ages just to order food, drinks and bill. Such a shame because its a lovely place.

I had booked a table for 2, was ignored when I walked into the restaurant to be seated, had to go to the counter was ignored there then they weren't sure about my table. Waited again to be served and had to ask to place our order, tried to catch staffs attention to order more drinks, it was 2.30 so... More

Ideal for Vegetarians and Vegans - although based more on vegetarians than vegans as cheese Is used a fair amount in their recipes. Nice staff and quick and efficient service. Price wise - not the cheapest food in the area but very tasty. Parking is not easy at all and it is difficult to find a space that is not... More

Saw this on TA and visited to try it out. Friendly staff and good food on quiet pleasant surroundings near the canal. Food is not the cheapest around but good quality ingredients appear to be used to make up for this. Only problem is parking which has to be hunted out! Reasonably busy when we visited - very clean and... More
