An outstanding meal - beautifully seasoned and flavoured food. Four of us each had a different set of dishes and every one was delicious. The Sirloin steak was superb, as was the beef in mild ginger. All the food was well presented, tasted fresh and flavoursome. Thoroughly recommended!

As the title of my review says great place and even better food...a group of around ten of us went and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals...singha beers were flowing too which is always a winner! Great service too highly recommend!

Having been to the Chiangmai on several occassions in the past, I thought I'd finally share with others via Trip Advisor! My wife and I decided to book a table at the Chiangmai to celebrate our wedding annivrsary - a wise move on our part, as it filled up within 20 minutes of our arrival - as it is a... More

Lovely old quirky building - such a difference from the clinical plastic shopping centre style restaurants common today. The food is excellent. Tom Yum soup is hot and flavoursome. i had the red lamb curry with jasmine rice. Both were cooked to perfection. The rice had just enough stickiness without being stodgy. The meat was tender and sauce fresh and... More

A Monday lunchtime and five of us tried the lunch menu deal. For about £6 you get a soup, a rice and a main course. I had Tom Yum soup followed by coconut rice and a green curry. We were given bottomless baskets of Thai Spicy Crackers with sweet chilli and honey dips. The service was first class, but we... More

As always very friendly service. We were a large group and found service prompt and efficient. It's a small quaint restaurant so seating was a little tight. In spite of this the atmosphere was great. We ate from the gourmet night menu at £9.95 a head. This included a wide range of starters, main dish, rice/noodles, vegetables and tea/coffee. All... More

The food was cold and very bland. Very disappointed as reviews are mostly good. The service was good and atmosphere good. Food was that bad I pushed it around my plate horrified at what had been brought to me. Left hungry and feeling a little sick!!! Would not recommend to anybody
