I'm afraid I don't get what all the fuss is about The Glasshouse. The buffet is just adequate but should be world class at £52 per head plus drinks and service on Saturday night. I suggest the management have become complacent and need to do a bit of travelling in South East Asia or on a cruise ship to see... More

We went to the Glasshouse for a works leaving do this week. We found that the food throughout was to a very good standard. We managed 6 courses having made sure we didn't eat beforehand. The food we could not fault. The ambience too was very good and being a group of 6 we were put in one of the... More

I visited the glasshouse in December for breakfast for a special celebration & was thoroughly disappointed. Whilst there is no doubt that the restaurant & hotel grounds are beautiful, and the staff were very attentive & professional, the food was not as expected. The selection of food was reduced as we were eating after 9am, we found dry oily bacon... More

Booked a table for 5 for afternoon tea after 2 of the party raved about it having been before so arranged it as a Christmas present as a family, as 2 of us live 170 miles away! The Service was brilliant - the staff were great, polite, knowledgeable about the products and attentive without being in your face, the sandwiches... More

Set in a beautiful building, impeccable service and ok food-a very fancy buffet. I visited with a group of girl friends and had a lovely relaxed night. Not sure of I would return for the quality of food but will do for the chilled atmosphere and venue.

This is not a review of one particular visit but the many I have made to the Glasshouse at the Grove. Let me start by saying that I have never come across a buffet like this, it is certainly a buffet with a difference. The choice of food, the ambience and the service are all simply outstanding. There really are... More

This restaurant ticks all the boxes for us, enabling everyone to choose their favourites from the buffet and also try something they wouldn't ordinarily choose. Even the fussiest of eaters cannot fail to find something delicious. The food is always excellent along with the service. We never feel hurried meaning you can relax and enjoy your surroundings!

It is a buffet located in an older building on nice grounds. The price of the buffet factors all that in. We were there on a Thursday for lunch. No complaints about the variety, quality, or quantity of items available nor on service and such. I as well as the members of my party enjoyed our meals. And I really... More
