We dined here for our first wedding anniversary and it was outstanding. Service was excellent and food was out of this world - so much choice!

We ate here last night as a family group for a 60th birthday celebration. We were a little confused on arrival to not be immediately shown to our table although I do understand that some people might be wanting a cocktail or drink first. We were rather left wondering if we were expected to find our own table! The two... More

Staff very friendly but failed to meet standards at all times such as bringing finger wash bowls even though twice saying they would, and jug of water never did make the table. Great selection of food, desserts had gone a bit dry and I think sponges should always be fresh. May be petty but for the price I expect 100%... More

I eat at the glasshouse quite regularly through work and must admit I always leave having had a good meal but feeling relieved that I haven't personally paid for the meal as it never lives up to the price tag. Reasonable assortment of dishes and cuisines, perhaps a bit limited for Veges. Very average service or staff attention to detail.... More

Went for my partners birthday and had an amazing time - we had a cocktail outside before dinner and the staff went over and beyond to make sure we had a great time, we then had dinner in the Glasshouse and can thoroughly recommend the food and options even as a vegetarian. They even gave my partner a happy birthday... More

Despite the recent negative reviews we have never had a bad experience at the Glasshouse. We have eaten there 2-3 times now and the food has always been quite decent. Its not fine cuisine, more like an upmarket Jimmy's Kitchen world buffet. Yes, there is room for improvement in terms of expansion and variety in the range of food they... More

I cannot give the Grove a good review despite its lovely setting and attentive staff. It is very overpriced and below par for what is only a buffet There is a good fish bar, but flies buzzing around need to be dealt with. The main courses, all kept under warming lights, resembled as another reviewer has pointed out has the... More

Went to The Glasshouse at The Grove for lunch on a Saturday. The food was of overall good quality, with some of it being outstanding quality. However, if I am spending £33 per head plus drinks, I do not expect to have to queue. The restaurant was busy, which led to many occasions of large queues. This meant fellow diners... More

Great variety and delicious. Attentive staff. Too cramped though and felt as if we were sat with lots of other guests.
