Quality of food really poor - my husband couldn't eat his beef which was just full of fat!! Definitely will NEVER eat here again and we are people who eat at very good... More

This is pricey but it is lovely place to go for a special occasion. The service is excellent, the quality of food is excellent and the choice available is excellent. Thoroughly recommend it. Going to go back again - soon!

We had breakfast at The Glasshouse on Sunday morning as part of our overnight romantic break at the Mansion House. Both my husband and I travel a lot with work and have stayed in countless 5 star hotels and Leading Hotels of the World. The Glasshouse restaurant offers one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts we've encountered.

Amazing venue, in secluded part of Hertfordshire. Grounds are well kept and presented with lots of lovely statues and sculptures, including some amazing glass flowers. The house is equally a lovely and well presented, with lots of quirky touches. Food is always fresh, well presented and plentiful. Chefs are engaging and happy to listen to your needs/queries. Service is spot... More
