Visited this family favourite celebratory restaurant once again. Whilst it's a fantastic setting and the food and service is generally good it does set expectations high with pricing to justify. On this occasion though there was definitely room to sharpen up to meet expectation. Some of the service staff were just a little on the casual side and not quite... More

The Glasshouse for friends, family and business has always been an easy choice for me as I have enjoyed, since its opening, the food and ambience. On my most recent visit, a family birthday, this month, we were disappointed, not by the food, but by the more casual approach of the team. Also the female toilets on the ground floor... More

I have been to the spa at the Grove many times, but never the restaurant. We weren't expecting a lot but we were very pleasantly surprised. The selection of foods is fabulous and include sushi, sashimi, salads, tapas, freshly prepared wok dishes, various roasts to choose from and a large dessert table (incl chocolate fountain) and cheeses. The service was... More

Tried to book table/s for 23 for lunch.Told to come back as they only book up to two months in advance. When going back told they can not cope with that many at once. Only a maximum of sixteen guests at 12.30 then the rest at 1pm. If they can only cope with a small amount of guests at a... More

Been coming here for many years so thought I should write a review after approximately my 20th visit! As a whole, our meals at the Glasshouse have been really good, some extremely memorable. There's always a large choice and its presented elegantly and with a lightness of touch. Not everything hits the mark but there;s always enough to satisfy. Recently... More

Since opening we have been regular customers here, however since the likes of john wood vacated the property, standards have clearly dropped. Sloppy table service, empty plates sitting on the table for 20 minutes, chef refusing to serve rare beef- is this a high end buffet or a cafeteria. Also Surprised wines on list are not in stock. Try and... More

We took Clients here the other night. Always a safe bet going to the Glasshouse for the excellent buffet. On the way I said you are going to have the best beef you can buy but boy was I wrong! Apparently some bright H&S spark has said you can no longer cook it pink. WHAT? I thought it was a... More

We have been today for lunch to celebrate amazing GCSE results. The moment you step into the environment you know you are in for a treat. The food choice was superb, very varied, beautifully presented and tasted good. A classy, relaxing atmosphere without being pretentious.
