Pricey for what it is...but oh so good.

The Glasshouse @ The Grove is essentially an expensive all you can eat buffet, at £45 a head on a Friday/Saturday. But this is type of place that you won't be visiting every day, so we'll worth the punt. There's a lovely selection of seafood starters and antipasti, followed by Carvery, Chinese or... read more

My friend and I ate here on a Thursday evening. We received a warm welcome and were quickly seated at our table. Service throughout was excellent, prompt and polite. The food in the glasshouse is buffet style offering a wide range of cold starters from prawn cocktails to cured meats. Hot food varies from stir fry to roast meats and... More

The glasshouse is in a lovely setting within The Grove Hotel. Welcoming staff - although you have to pity the female staff as the uniforms are so mumsy! Euchy purple twinset. It's a big buffet so you basically serve yourself. The selection of seafood was brilliant. I had a massive plate got starter. Indian for main & cheeses to end.... More

Delicious breakfast and dinner enjoyed here. Constant top up, so much selection they can cater for anyone including the fussiest of palates. Comfortable seating, good service, delicious varied food, what more could you ask for

I took my mum to the glasshouse for dinner on the easter weekend. The buffet was so rich, anything you could ever want for. The staff are really friendly and the food is of top quality. Bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Great for a birthday or celebratory treat.

A real english breakfast here and full of choice for lunches and dinners...you could not eat all they propose, but the open kitchen is very nice and high quality in everything

If anybody told you that you'd find a superb all you can eat buffet of a 5 star standard, you wouldn't believe them, but this is exactly what The Glasshouse is. It is superb and I defy anyone not to like the food, it really is that good. I don't pretend it's inexpensive, but for a celebratory treat on a... More

Loved our visit as part of our Christmas celebrations. Really good food although the end of the service is probably best avoided. Waitress was slightly pre-occupied with other diners, but it didn't negatively impact on us as we weren't really wanting lots of drinks.

Fantastic breakfasts, and plenty of choice and quantity for dinner. A bit noisy when full in the evening.
