We popped in for a family/friends evening meal, the staff were brilliant, the food was homemade, fresh and hot, the puddings were to die for! Lovely old fashioned pub with open fire, not many pubs left like this, we will be back many times for sure! Lots of vegi meals available too! Only 1 thing we would of liked to... More

My husband knew of this eatery and as we were nearby we decided to go there for lunch. A really lovely welcome, great choice of beers and a really wonderful menu, certainly something for everyone and good specials on offer. Our meals were excellent and the staff on duty were so friendly that we felt right at home. We will... More

As 'seasoned' travellers,we don't pass on our comments unless the venue was really dire or, as in this case; Fantastic! A cycling weekend around Malvern & Bromyard we stumbled on/in to The Royal Oak,as it was late,on a Friday evening,we did not have high expectations,it was so good, thank you Alex, we dined again on Saturday evening, then complemented our weekend... Visited with family & friends, would highly recommend. We all choose Sunday roasts - delicious home cooked food & good portions. If you have room for desert the chocolate sin cake is a must!

Had two night away for a bit of a break and ended up going to this place two nights running. Good food at reasonable prices and really friendly staff. Would recommend The Royal Oak.

Just had a very good family get-together in the Royal Oak. My first visit. Very impressed with service, quality of food and price. I eat out a lot so not easy to please! Catering for groups yet giving the same level of service as if an individual customer is not easy, so hats off to the very professional staff.

If you want excellent food every time this is the place to visit. Good selection of home cooked food on offer at a reasonable price - am working my way through the menu!! Staff are friendly and helpful. On a nice day why not eat outside and enjoy the views?

Eaten here a few times as we live nearby and the food is always good, the service excellent and the staff brilliant. If you want good Pub food at a fair price this is the place to go. No food Sunday night and closed Mondays!

Had an evening meal and the food was just amazing, lots of choice and not expensive. The service was excellent very friendly and prompt. The puddings are very very nice, coffee very hot and a nice little touch with some sweets with the bill. Definitely will be a regular of ours now

Met friends who chose this restaurant for lunch. The Royal Oak on The Downs above Bromyard is in a really lovely position. We received a warm welcome and were shown to a table by the window, we were given plenty of time to make our choices from an extensive menu and "specials board". The food was well presented and very... More
