Delicious experience

We had lunch at Live and Let Live on Sunday and it was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was well planned, cooked and presented and it was a really welcome surprise to have an unusual vegetarian option on the menu. This 3 cheese baked cheesecake set off with poached pear... read more

We would like to thank Sue and all her team for making our wedding day so special! You did an amazing job with our reception. The pub looked fantastic inside and out. You were so well organised and accommodating. You pulled out all the stops with regards to the food and it was delicious. I would recommend this venue to... More

Our first visit, introduced by friends, to this Inn built C.1700 and still holding its country pub feel. Open fires great atmosphere and homely food. Some really nice real ales and all at affordable prices. We had dinner with friends and the placed was packed so booking advised. Don't be put off by the track down to the pub, it... More

Very nice and homely/comforting inside. The girl behind the bar did take forever to get drinks and managed to loose the bacardi even though I was pointing out exactly where it was. The waitress was rather abrupt and we were placed on a very small table with quite a lot on said table. Dessert was lovely. My sister had chicken... More

Warm friendly welcome on a cold day. Very good service, extremely good, very fresh fish in a light batter, yummy! My husband enjoyed his gammon and local beer.

We managed to get one of the few un-reserved tables downstairs, near the open fire. We enjoyed excellent service and were impressed by the quality of the menu. Not the longest bar in Herefordshire, but the Wye Valley ale tasted very nice; so too did the locally sourced apple juice. The food came quickly and the main meal was well... More

Wonderful atmosphere, we all ate in the semi private Stone Room upstairs at the back. The service was wonderful and the food was all excellent. I had the best whitebait to start and a perfect burger. Others had the slow cooked pork, the lasagne and the steak pie. Really a very special place, thoroughly recommended.

Was informed about the L&LL and so glad we found it ! A large road sign directs you to the pub down a bumpy country track well worth the uncomfortable ride. Beautiful pub on the outside and inside. We live in a house with Oak beams etc but this is really rustic, creaking floors, low doors, old tables and chairs.... More
