Charming refuge from the rain

We ate here on a cold and windy day. We ordered children's meals that seemed a bit pricy at £9.95 each, including ice cream. However theIr mains were of above average quality, while the ice cream was average. The adult mains were good - fish and chips and burger. The "proper chips" were... read more

If you are looking for a pint of something local in front of a roaring fire in a medieval thatched pub then this is just the place for you. However if you are looking for fine dinning then may be you should look for something else. My wife and I visited during a short break to the area. Despite booking... More

The care and attention in rebuilding this pub is obvious with many interesting details. Inside you could have stepped back 100 years but the food and drink is excellent with several real ales such as Wye Valley and a good selection on the menu. If you have visitors from abroad they need to see the "Live" as its what many... More

On a visit to Herefordshire to see the grandchildren we visited Live and Let Live, a nice pub with food on Bringsty Common over the boarder in Worcestershire. They serve real ale and good food. The bill for 4 adults and 2 children's lunches, including wine and beer was only £120, very good value! The setting on the common is... More

Beautiful building, proper pub, low beams, fire, atmospheric. So, why 3 stars then? It's all about value for money and I was missing something. Had dinner here but when arriving noticed that all tables seemed reserved. So, enquiring if there was a spot for a bite we did not really get a friendly response, just got the feeling we were... After visiting the area we were recommended to try this quaint little pub. You have to drive down a very bumpy unmade road so do drive carefully or better still leave your car at the top and walk unless its a four by four. We received a very warm welcome and asked for a table but they were full with... More

The Live and Let Live is truly an awesome pub set amidst the hills of Bringsty Common! If you are up for a walk, walk around the common and see the view of Malvern hills, walk back down to the pub to meet the Great Hosts, Great Food & Booze. It's a very warm pub with the fire going on... More

Looking for somewhere special to take my sprightly mother-in-law to celebrate her 89th birthday we had previously been recommended by friends to try this venue. A happy suggestion because, tucked away down a track on Bringsty Common, you are unlikely to stumble on it by chance. And it was an absolute delight! This stone built thatched building is as close...
