Great food and friendly staff

Managed to walk in and get a table on a Saturday night but glad we got in early as it quickly filled up. Obviously popular with locals (which is always a good sign). Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Can't fault it at all.

Went here for the first time on Saturday 30th January, having booked a table. We arrived just before our reservation time only to find ourselves in a queue of people without reservations, with no staff dealing with the queue. No point having reserved a table as it was a case of first come first served. Very slow service - over... More

We love Indian food in all its wonderful, regional varieties, and for me the hotter the spices the better. Here's my new favourite, not far from home. Perfectly balanced ingredients, freshly prepared, attentive service and attractive decoration. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We went to Lyndhurst and decided to try this restaurant. As avid users of Indian food we know when we have a horrible meal. My wife had a chicken korma that was spicy! Now we know korma is a mild dish not spicy. And certinally having hair in it was a non welcome extra! I always have lamb dansak as... More

My boyfriend and I visited the New Forest over the new year and made a last minute booking for this restaurant at 17.15pm on NYE. We were told on the phone to come down at any time we wanted, that there was plenty of space and we were welcome. We told them we would be coming at 19.30 and required... More

Friendly attentive staff, restaurant was quite empty when we arrived for our table at 7pm on the Tuesday evening, but filled up really quickly. The quality of the food was very good and excellently flavoured, they even made a dish that wasn't on the menu which was expertly reproduced. Good value for money, drinks and food for 2 at just... Used to use this Indian restaurant years ago but stopped as the service and quality declined. I have been told that it is now under different management so thought I would give it a try. Very disappointed, mixed tandoori grill had lamb that could not be cut with a steak knife it was so tough. All the dishes we had... More

This Indian restaurant serves very middle of the road food, which I found to be quite expensive. Staff very friendly, but I'm afraid I'd rather choose a different restaurant next time
