Although we didn't eat there, we sampled a few beers in the beer garden and found the place too be very charming although expensive. The beer was dearer than in London!

Landlord was friendly and the beer was good but the food was disappointing. The whitebait starter, a favourite of mine was ok, but a small portion compared to to other places. It was poor... More

The inside of the pub i found quite dark but the home cooked meals were lovely, i saw several plates going out and all the dishes looked good. On a nice day the garden would be nice to sit in, large and pretty. I picked this pub as they allowed dogs inside, so knew if the weather wasn't good enough... More

My wife and I came to this pub for a lovely Sunday lunch during our stay in Lyndhurst. We both ordered the roast beef, which arrived after a reasonable length of time. The beef was really good and tasty, with a huge Yorkshire pudding, potatoes and vegetables. After we had finished our roasts my wife decided that she wanted a... More

We chose the Waterloo Arms as we had a 10% off voucher from our B&B and what a treat it turned out to be. A lovely Olde Worlde pub with roaring log fire, real ales and an excellent menu (I went for the local sausages on bubble and squeak, divine! We all went for the garlic mushrooms for our starter...
