We spent 4 days in Lyndhurst and either either ate here for lunch or dinner. The sandwiches are excellent and very generous. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pork hock is enormous and the best meal I'v enjoyed this year.

I visited The Mailmans Arms a few weeks ago, I have never been to Lyndhurst before and when passing through to go camping nearby, this pub caught my eye! This place is a real gem. Friendly social atmosphere. Reasonable prices and excellent food. We ended up dining al fresco as the sunshine was such a tonic! Good-quality food, cooked to... More

Have been here twice for lunch. Just having a sandwich/panini. The first time it seemed to take ages and was not a very friendly service when trying to make light conversation with bar staff! Second time was better. Sandwich was good both times, don't recall price, so it can't have been too expensive. Will certainly be back as I live... More
