You won't be dissapointed

The food is absolutely first rate, the accommodation good enough and the location is brilliant. We brought our dogs to the hotel and were made very welcome. The chef is outstanding and we heartily recommend the dinner

This is a family run restaurant with rooms. Their passion is food and that comes through clearly on the plates with the most amazing food I've ever eaten. Hubby & I stayed for their weekend break, 2 nights B&B with evening meals included. Breakfast is continental but trust me, its plenty after those evening meals and the freshly homemade bread... First visit to the restaurant although we live within thirty miles. Arranged at short notice but we were able to reserve a table for four. The menu was excellent but with one vegetarian the chef was able to conjure up a rosti that resulted in clean plates.

Was taken here for my birthday back in March. We were welcomed at the bar and did have to wait a while to be seated, but it was nice to have a drink and nibbles while we waited. Food was really lovely and the staff really friendly and welcoming. Was a lovely birthday treat.

Went for lunch with friends, service was friendly and efficient, atmosphere relaxed, food excellent and reasonably priced. Choice of set menu or al acarte nice setting. Have fun finding it, with-out the sat nav. Good wine list too!

We came here for our anniversary dinner, 25 years after celebrating our engagement here! The meal was absolutely excellent, and the service was polite and friendly. The restaurant was comfortable and relaxed. My only slight criticism is that it is very expensive. Definitely only for high days and holidays, not general "going out"!

Location - great. Ambience - great. The food is good even very good...but... This is an expensive restaurant and it is that which make me mark it down. For such prices very good is not good enough, it needs to be excellent. The starters show imagination, the mains could be improved further and the dessert choice was a bit disappointing.... More

Welcome, service, restaurant area, staff - brilliant. Food absolutely mouthwatering and gorgeous, compliments to the Chef yet again. The crackling with my pork loin dish was wonderful. We all loved our choice of meal and so beautiful plated with a little lavender sprig. The front of house who owns The Three Lions is such a hospitable lady and so welcoming.... More

This restaurant (in the hotel) is always a wonderful treat for lunch. We have been coming here for years and the experience is always fantastic - the menu is large and always seasonal with edible garnishes from their garden. The service is personal and prompt and Mike the owner/chef is ready to cater for personal tastes if given enough prior... More

We made a visit to The Three Lions at Stuckton for a birthday celebration. The whole evening was a lovely experience. Warm and friendly service, seems to me to be a genuinely family run business which is nice. Very good choice of menu, with items to suit all tastes. Beautifully chilled wine, perfect. As for the food - well simply... More
