We had lunch here today. It was a good, spacious table for 5 people. Lunch did however take quite some time to arrive even though we ordered just after lunch orders could be given - I would say that we ordered at 1205 hrs. Lunch arrived at around 1240 hrs. As they knew that one of the orders was for... More

Really love how they have rennovated this old garage into a stylish and relaxing cafe/restaurant space. Lots of nice touches like old shell oil cans as lamps and fire extinguishers in the fireplaces. Didn't stop for food, but had coffee. Coffee was from an artisan roaster in Bristol, but to be honest was ok rather than exceptional.

Great location by the beck, outdoor seating and great cakes. I always take my nieces and nephews here when I am down.

Excellent Tea and fruit scones with lashings of cream and jam. Open when it was late on a very wet Sunday afternoon

Whilst it is a lovely place granted, and great 'front of house' people, the chef needs to totally rethink the scones. Totally horrified to get a microwave scone! It was beautifully-presented but what are you thinking of Stokes? How can anyone ever, ever serve up a scone microwaved? Nearly fell off chair in amazement. Scones and microwaves should not inhabit... More

Again they came up trumps. One does need to reserve a table as they are justifiably popular, but the welcome/service and food was first class. They do not have a vast menu but the choice is varied and the quality is great. In summer there are tables outside along a culvert and the town of Stockbridge is interesting and upmarket... More

Ate here on a Friday lunchtime and sat ourselves at a table after no one greeted us. They were a bit slow on the uptake but eventually got menus and ordered. A mix up over the drinks didn't help but the food arrived and it was fine. The neighbouring table seemed to have a mix up with their food and... More
