We were a family group celebrating our getting together for a few days holiday. This was a super setting living up to a sense of special occasion. The decor and service created a lovely atmosphere and everyone was delighted with their choice of dishes. A great evening.

Excellent food, superb service, good selection of food and wine. Best of all the taste and flavours were like being back in France.

We visited for a Saturday lunch and were glad we had booked. Our reserved table was the only one free in either the restaurant or the bar. We ordered a pint and a half of two different lagers, Stella and Becks, and these were attratively served in appropriately embossed glasses. My wife started with a mushroom and roquefort tart, which... More

Great menu and attentive service surrounded in a French Art Deco interior. The staff are French which adds to the atmosphere. The food was really quite good. Convenient parking right behind restaurant in the middle of Romsey. Recommended

The restaurant is next door to the medium term car park. It manages to be very typically French in decor and atmosphere and the staff are French speaking. The food is first class - again French style and first class. The value is excellent - set lunch menu I had was 3 course £19.95 and the chocolate mousse was to... More

We hadn't been back to La Parisienne for nearly a year and hadn't reviewed it again since 2011. So it was great to go back, be welcomed by the staff and to get an even better meal than we had last time. I've said it before and I'll say it again - the owners are French, the menu is French,... More

My thanks go to the Maitre D' at La Parisienne. I thought I had booked a table for six people, but had forgotten to do so. The Maitre D' listened to my gasp of horror when I rang to check (this was on the Friday before Christmas, which is probably one of the busiest lunch times of the year), and... More

You cannot really fault this place or the ambience. It's exactly "what it says on the tin". You are transported to France in all senses. The food is great. The service is excellent. This is a place we love to frequent as often as we can.

A colleague at work recommended this restaurant so I gave it a try and it was excellent. It really is a little bit of Paris in Hampshire. My steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were perfectly attentive and I wouldn't hesitate in going again. Highly recommended.

Great place, not the cheapest but it is fun and food is good. Staff very friendly but get very busy so not always fast, but hey, this is a very typical French place, its what you would expect in France!
