Typically French Brasserie.

This is a packed, noisy place. Don't go there if you wish for quiet conversation. The menu is quite good though. The portions are a little on the large side for my taste. The service is good and attentive and they have a reasonable wine list. My onion tart was really nice but the confit of... read more

We love this adorable restaurant, it really feels like you have stumbled upon a bistro in a back street of Paris. The staff are all rushing around talking in French to each other. The tables in the restaurant have proper linen on the table and the finishing touches to the table feel authentic ie the little salt, pepper and mustard... More

Went there for my birthday meal which included a FANTASTIC steak and french fries main course. It was delicious and could have eaten it again! Very busy both in the bar area and the restaurant but service was good considering how busy they were (Thursday evening). I paid a visit to the ladies loo and the aroma of grilled steak... More

I have been visiting the restaurant since it opened and it has gradually got expensive over the last few years. I used to eat in the evenings but this got extortionate for say steak and chips and a small salad garnish for over £25. The lunch menu was greater value for money but even the prices of these items are... More

I liked the feel of the place as soon as we entered the bar area, it could be a Parisian restaurant if it were more cramped with less light! It is a shame there has been no effort to make the entrance wheelchair accessible but the staff were very accommodating. Le Menu is very typically French with far too many... More

We live close to this restaurant and have visited it a number of times previously. But recently visited with our family choosing fillet steak which were frankly over half the size of previously. My sons steak was half the size again of mine yet we were both charged £27 each for steaks which were a single cm in height and... More

Went for a lovely meal with my hubby for our anniversary. The food was delicious as usual! I was a little disappointed that they no longer serve Beouf Burginioun. The highlight or awkward part of the evening was the hen party sat behind us!!!! A gentleman from the bar decided to come and strip for the bride! Not what you... More

We visited for a light lunch on a Tuesday and found the tables in the bar area completely full. We were welcomed to a table in the main restaurant and ordered two light dishes: some roquefort cheese with French bread, and a mushroom and roquefort tart. To drink we chose two half-pints of Stella. The atmosphere was great. I really... More

Arrived early and had a drink before lunch, served courteously. Met up with friends and shared an excellent lunch. Service was good, food was delicious and hot (most important). Surroundings tranquil. Would thoroughly recommend and would visit again.
