Local food and friendly service made this an enjoyable night out. Fish was extremely fresh and well cooked and their cheese platter featured local produce.

Dropped in here for lunch as a break from the river where we had been fishing and was disappointed. Service slow and off hand. Food expensive and very average. We could have been anywhere in middle England - surely there is something that the pub could do to make a link with the local community?. The place just didn't have... More

Worth checking out, the Three Tuns is a very nice local pub. They serve traditional British food to a high quality but generally this is a good place for a beer or three, nice outside areas to sit in the sun too when were allowed it!

We have known about three tuns existence for a long time but never actually paid it a visit( mainly because of it's tucked location on a busy road). We were really surprised and impressed when we entered, the inside decor is typical English pub and had a very cosy ambience. The service was great and well staffed, we had a... More

We enjoyed a relaxed weekday lunch here. A little pricey for the portion sizes but the quality was fantastic. We shared some starters including crab toast, beetroot salad, tempura and bread. All of the dishes were nicely cooked.

We booked a table last minute, and had to eat in the bar, as the restaurant was full. This was no hardship though. Despite it being a very warm evening the bar was cosy and had a good feel. We were brought a bottle of ice cold water, and tumblers full of ice and lemon to cool down, whilst we... More

First time I stayed here and would highly recommend this place to stay and eat. The accommodation is perfect. Beautiful rooms, clean and comfortable. They were very booked up in the restaurant but still got us in. The food was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is nothing negative to say about this place.

Went for lunch last week with my mum & dad. Lovely olde worlde pub with lots of character, beams , fireplace, etc. Staff were very warm & welcoming. It was a very hot day so we sat outside in the small patio garden, I had the ploughman’s which was delicious , proper home baked ham & good portion of cheese... More

We went as a family for a birthday celebration. We have been before and its been OK but getting worse, and this was confirmation of patchy service and declining standards. The waiter confessed he was an expert on beer and not on wine - which was clear from a £22.50 bottle of white which was clearly very young and not... More

Had heard good things about The Three Tuns, but have eaten here twice now & it's not been as good as I'd hoped. Service is nice and friendly, and an attractive menu, but the goods don't quite deliver. Portion sizes are on the small side, which I don't mind as it's better than eating too much or wasting food. But... More
