Romsey's finest pub! I have eaten here a few times and gone in for a snack or two. Great set of local ales to choose from, which went great with my fish and chips and my friends burger! Staff were really friendly and service was fast. All in all it was a great meal out and would thoroughly recommend this... More

A really nice, old fashioned pub that serves an excellent selection of beer which was nicely looked after. My wife had a mushroom rissotto which she described as 'very tasty, but a lttle rich'. I ordered a beef sandwich. After asking if I wanted brown or white bread (Answer: 'white') I was asked (twice) to confirm my choice of brown... More

in a quiet street just away from Romsey town centre this olde worlde pub is reminiscent of those found in a more rural setting. Immediately welcoming with it's low ceilings and roaring fires. Excellent selection of drinks including a carefully selected local real ales. Having eaten locally at a pub the previous night (see my last review) The Three Tuns... More

I rarely get excited about pub food - and I never have high expectations either; but I live in hope of finding that little something special......but sadly this was not it. Starting with the positives, this is a beautiful place with very nice staff; extremely helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the meal let it down in my view. Trying out the... More

I've been to this pubs sister restaurant, The Chesil Rectory, a few times and love it so was looking forward to sampling the food here. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The food.....amazing!! The menu is limited but I quite like that you aren't overwhelmed with choice. We all opted for... More

Very scrummy fish and chips. Crispy batter. Busy pub so they must be doing something well. I wanted the staff to be a bit smilier, that was all really. Good range, reasonable prices.

Very friendly, dogs welcome, food is fantastic. Definitaly not a cheap pub grub place, but the food you get is not cheap pub grub either. It is very high quality, very fresh and superb. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is of a typical country pub. Good beers and open fire! Wonderful.

Furniture in this place needs improving, as the seats are like instruments of torture! And very small and upright too, so anyone large would struggle. It was difficult to choose anything healthy from the menu, many things being pan fried. I opted for mussels. There were two sizes - starter size and main course size- and I didn't see cream... More

As usual the restaurant is busy and the service good. The food is always a good standard like its big brother The Chesil Rectory...well worth the trip.

I last visited the Three Tuns pub in 2003, and remembered it being a particularly lovely place for dinner. I had the good fortune to revisit it again last night, and it really didn't disappoint. It has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are all very friendly. We had a couple of drinks in the cosy bar area, before... More
