I have eaten at the Three Tuns a couple of times before so we decided to take our son there for a birthday lunch and to be honest we wished we hadn't. The food was not good value for money the starters were OK but the spicy parsnip soup lacked any spice and was luke-warm, we did wonder if it... More

We go with our dig most Sunday's. The Sunday lunch is great as is the friendly service. They serve a good range of drinks and ciders.

Our visit started on dodgy ground as they had double booked us, however, the staff were apologetic and found us a space. The menu was surprisingly limited, but what was available was nicely cooked and presented. Friendly staff, lovely pub.

Local food and friendly service made this an enjoyable night out. Fish was extremely fresh and well cooked and their cheese platter featured local produce.

Dropped in here for lunch as a break from the river where we had been fishing and was disappointed. Service slow and off hand. Food expensive and very average. We could have been anywhere in middle England - surely there is something that the pub could do to make a link with the local community?. The place just didn't have... More

Worth checking out, the Three Tuns is a very nice local pub. They serve traditional British food to a high quality but generally this is a good place for a beer or three, nice outside areas to sit in the sun too when were allowed it!

We have known about three tuns existence for a long time but never actually paid it a visit( mainly because of it's tucked location on a busy road). We were really surprised and impressed when we entered, the inside decor is typical English pub and had a very cosy ambience. The service was great and well staffed, we had a... More

We enjoyed a relaxed weekday lunch here. A little pricey for the portion sizes but the quality was fantastic. We shared some starters including crab toast, beetroot salad, tempura and bread. All of the dishes were nicely cooked.

We booked a table last minute, and had to eat in the bar, as the restaurant was full. This was no hardship though. Despite it being a very warm evening the bar was cosy and had a good feel. We were brought a bottle of ice cold water, and tumblers full of ice and lemon to cool down, whilst we... More

First time I stayed here and would highly recommend this place to stay and eat. The accommodation is perfect. Beautiful rooms, clean and comfortable. They were very booked up in the restaurant but still got us in. The food was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is nothing negative to say about this place.
