The pub is a lovely old fashioned inn, with a charming cosy bar.The food was good but expensive and we were surprised to see a service charge on the bill .The real draught ales were all off which compounded our disappointment

Popped in for a beer whilst out walking and decided to have what turned out to be a very expensive cheese and chutney sandwich too! If it's great food your after and don't have too far to travel go to the Yew Tree in Highclere food it greta, its fresh and made to order and reasonably priced.

Came across this on a trip around Hampshire. Asked if it was a pub or restaurant - they said "Which do you want it to be?"
