Dinned here one Friday evening in May. We had not booked but got a table for two no problem, even though the restaurant was nearly full. An excellent meal & good service, only negative was some of the 2 seater tables are very close together, we sat next to a rail & the table the other side was very close,... More

You've tried the rest now try the best. Like us all we've tried so many curry houses over the years but this really is the best! From the moment you walk through the door, 99% of the time the helpful staff have opened it for you, always a nice touch. From there the experience just gets better. We are always... More

This is my local curry house - well there are two in Hartley Wintney, both very good... but this one I just can't get enough of. It's excellent. Having explored the menu extensively I would urge anyone visiting for the first time to try the Pudina Gosht if you like lamb dishes, or the Chicken Tikka Monchuri if you prefer... More

Visited between Xmas and New Year with extended family following exploratory visit couple of months back, which was good. The group all have differing requirements from curry restaurants (5-68yrs age range) but the menu was able to cater for all. I also got a sense they would be happy to go 'off piste' if required. Food was very good and... More

The Viceroy is not your typical Indian, it looks like it but the food is very very good. It has all the usual dishes but once you start going off the well worn track of chicken tikka masala you will be in for a real treat. You must try the Mass-Er Tengha fish curry (£9.95 inc rice) it is a... More

Having read the excellent reviews on this and other sites and had a personal recommendation we drove about 20 miles to experience what we thought would be something special. What a disappointment! We are creatures of habit and tend to order the same dishes at whichever Indian restaurant we visit. My Lamb Madras was awful. The meat was of very... More
