Brilliant venue,excellent food

Always a great place to visit, food and atmosphere excellent. We have taken friends there who are real Indian food buffs, they loved it as well.

Waiting time kept to. Portions quite good. Lamb madras had reasonable amount of lamb but very liquid sauce. Quality of other dishes for four people was very average.

Having been a diner at this Restaurant for many years on my last visit I was disappointed and ascertained that it was under new ownership. The service and food quality had deteriorated so much so that I doubt that I will return. There are now better Restaurants around the local area. Having read recent reviews I wanted to add my... The only downside to this restaurant is that its right next door to my favourite Italian restaurant, though I have been here many times, I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant, it's quality, the food the service the atmosphere, very welcoming. I doubt very much that you would be disappointed.

Fell out of favour a couple of years back. I decided to give it another try and have tried it a few times recently. The front of house staff have changed but include some old faces from four or five years ago. The menu has been refreshed although mainly as before. The currys are excellent as are the sides. I... Ordered a takeaway while we were babysitting for grandchildren in the village. The food had obviously been pre - prepared, possibly frozen and was in all honesty totally inedible! Although hungry we binned the food - and it was not a cheap meal - and made do with some bread and cheese. Never again!

Just feel like I should put in some positives for the new owners as, imo, this restaurant still produces my favourite curry in the local area (maybe the old chef is still there?). I was dubious when I saw the new owners but the food is still excellent. Lamb Madras is in a rich flavourful sauce and the lamb falls... More

This is an Indian restaurant you go to for dinner, not at the end of an evening. Great food (not too much Gee), attentive service, lovely atmosphere ....it has become a favourite!
