Pate was OK. Turkey was dry. Creme Brulee was to die for. Great Atmosphere. We stayed for 2 hours time flew.

I used to frequent the Oatsheaf before moving away a few years ago and it was in need of a refurbished of any sort! And upon arrival with friends and family recently we were pleasantly surprised: Some tasteful decor, friendly service, and good home cooked food, we couldn't have asked for more. Loved the vanilla and apple purée with my... More

Booked table for two, upon arrival the waiter (Tom) seemed a little unprepared as he seemed to look around the restaurant trying to find us a table. Sharing the baked camembert which was really tasty and was great with the celery sticks made us look forward to our mains. Mains arrived swiftly, the beef pie seemed a little empty but... More

Waiting Time: We walked into a packed pub! The chap at the door with a short pony tail on his head quickly had us sat down, very polite and attentive! Good start! The waiting time for food was very quick! I asked the waitress if we had to leave the table for a second sitting as it was so quick,... More

This is our local and we socialise with friends for drinks and have food occasionally - sometimes in the bar area and sometimes in one of the three restaurant areas. The Oatsheaf is a large pub but it retains a warm and cosy feel - especially in winter when the fires are lit. It has a large pub garden out... More

Have visited the Oatsheaf on two occasions and both times have been pleasantly surprised by the good quality food served. Produce is always fresh and tasty and the prices are reasonable for the food received.

Nice food, friendly atmosphere, reasonable service. There is a large garden for eating and drinking to the rear. Located in the heart of Fleet.

The focus these days is definitely on food at the Oatsheaf these days, but it's pretty decent and the decor and atmosphere is good, with a relaxed feel to the place, with small tables for couples and small groups and bigger areas for groups. Certainly one of the few 'pubs' in Fleet I'd choose to go to in the evenings... More

We go here often - it's local for us. The décor is attractive and the service is friendly, pleasant although not warm (I'm talking about the bar staff, the waiting staff are more smiley). We've eaten here often and the quality goes up and down a bit with new menus and, I guess, different kitchen staff. At the moment it... More

Everything about this place is 'OK.' The decor is fine (you will either think the cattle skulls on the wall are a neat quirky touch or just plain eerie). The service is polite and efficient. The food is not bad. The prices are satisfactory. Parking is adequate. Atmosphere is alright. So for a perfectly reasonable Sunday lunch, why not the... More
