Table booked for 8:45pm. At 9:30pm, with no table in sight, we decided to go next door to the smaller Indian and were sat and served by 10pm. So poor.

Against my better judgment, I booked a table for 6 for a Saturday evening. From previous experience and reports I knew the service would be slow but new depths were met on this occasion. If you are prepared to wait an hour between courses being servedthen this is the place for you. If you want to see people from three... More

I've always defended the Spice Village because the food was so good. but I agreed with most of the locals that the service is shockingly bad. I've sat for over an hour waiting for a take away and walked out after an hour when there had been no sight of any food. Last night however, they took it to another... More

Forgot to mention in my previous review and actually the worst point of all...the staff are outright liars! I have watched at least 5 parties attempt to walk of the restaurant, but none of them without an huge scene. The covering manager has argued with every single person (including us) and each time with the excuse that he is short... More

Dined here Saturday 19th July. The restaurant was fairly busy when we arrived, not full. I like slow dining but this was excessive. We arrived at 7pm, we had starters and mains. Our mains arrived at 9pm. Drinks service was chaotic, the staff seemed to be running around in a disorganised manner. The food however, was fine. Perhaps it is... More

Nice layout nice waiters good food and a good quantity on your plate. You ask for extra something you get some extra something not like alot of restaurants they just cut it up into smaller sizes to make it look like more.

This is my wife's favourite India Restaurant, this means we visit it often. The menu is comprehensive and we haven't had a bad experience - the food is good,

I've given this a four as the food is delicious - when you get it! We went on Saturday which I know is a busy time and yes, you can expect some delays. We waited an hour and a half for our mains but luckily we were not in a hurry. I get the impression that the staff are doing... More
