Decided to go in here after a curry, ordered 3 glasses of wine, 1 Rioja and 2 Sauvignon Blanc. I had to ask the lady toting up the bottles for some service, I got a huff and puff like I was in convenience. The wine matched the service dreadful and acidic, literally all thre of us couldn't drink it so... More

Came into the village for a day out with family and had lunch in the Ship. I was appalled by the service and the mannerism of the staff. The food took more than half an hour to come out, even then the vegetables were overcooked and looked like mush and the meat was dry, not worth the money we paid.

Lovely atmosphere, nice people, good food, good service, worth driving out for. again the weather helps, it was nice and sunny when we went, what this is like on a rainy day , when not so many customers.
