Lovely range in the menu, something for everyone plus specials board. Our group had wide selection of mains & sides, well presented. Ice creams, sorbets and puds, all very good. Would have liked the roast dinner to be hotter, but that may have been because we politely waited for all mains to be served before starting to eat. Roast potatoes... More

This pub/restaurant specialises in sausages with a variety of combinations. Whilst there are other items to choose from on the menu and some specials as well, the location is primarily known for the sausages. We arrived early for a meal and were told that food would be served from 6pm. The gentleman behind the bar was helpful and friendly and... More

Just a 5 minute walk from where we live. Chef-owner Simon consistently produces a quality menu with just the right amount of choice. Our party enjoyed pheasant, duck, and bass - although one who shall not be named - combined starters of mushroom risotto and calamari for a main course. I thought initially the 5 cheese dessert - nice to... More

Had a dinner with my Wife here last Friday. We made a reservation and requested the upstairs area - highly recommended - the downstairs back room isn't anywhere as good. We have visited a number of times before and the food is always good, but sometimes it can be great. This week it was only good as the meat in... More

My wife and I have been to the Sussex Brewery on a number of occasions with friends. It is justly famous for its sausages and mash as well as very tasty pork roasts. Each time we have been there the same high standard applies both in the food and the waiting staff. The food and drink is not excessively priced... More

Just had bubble and squeak with fried egg and sausage by a roaring fire at the wonderful Sussex Brewery. Lovely food, fab atmosphere and as always attentive service from the lovely Katya.

Visited here at 7pm on Saturday evening for dinner and were seated in the bar area. On the next table were two couples having a drink who unfortunately were very loud. Our meals arrived and I asked if some one could have a discreet word with these couples to perhaps be a little quieter. This request was ignored. Half way... More

I have eaten here a few times now and the food has always been cooked to a very consistently high standard. The staff have always been very friendly and the service very good. My only comment would be that they need just a few more choices for the main courses. There were specials on the board the particular night I... More
