Five of us dined at the Sussex Brewery for Sunday lunch. My wife and I had booked the restaurant from Australia before we came over as we were meeting American friends also arriving from overseas together with my elderly Mother from Emsworth. I was anxious to impress our American friends with my choice of restaurant as they were paying the... More

We had various meals at The Sussex Brewery on August 25th. The venue was lovely, the service good and the staff very friendly. However, the portion sizes were small and additional side dishes needed to included to statiate the appetite of young men! This was in particular with regard to the amount of mash. The macaroni cheese was delicious, but... More

Lovely meal in the Sussex Brewery this afternoon. The sausages are very nice and much tastier than your usual pub banger. Two of our party had the paella, which may be more like a seafood risotto but tasted lovely. Thoroughly recommended and would happily visit again if I was in the area.

We had the sharing sausage platter (6 different sausages, mash and home made baked beans) plus delicious desserts (chocolate fondant and cheesecake). Decent size portions and very tasty.

We recently dined here after hearing from a friend about how good the place was and we were blown away. Really lovely layout, still maintaining the traditional pub feel and dog friendly which is a massive bonus. We had the burgers which were genuinely some of the best I’ve had in the Sussex area, the brioche bun and wonderful welsh... More

As our local, although we always enjoyed a drink and company in this little jewel of a pub but had given up on the dining. Since being taken over we had begun to eat here frequently; with my husband, with family and with friends. The food still involves a delicious array of sausages with mash etc but it's the macaroni... Whenever we are in the area we always stop here for a meal and it has never let us down. A very down to earth pub with a fantastic range of sausages to choose from but other items are on the menu too if you don't fancy sausages. I normally never eat sausages but I always make an exception here... More

Very cute, tiny bar area, with a good atmosphere and a lovely courtyard at the back. Really good menu choice with a wide selection of small bites as well as main meals. We chose a selection of small bites - all were very good and the lightly battered onion rings were an absolute delight! Very friendly and efficient service. Will... More

Months later we are still talking about the amazing Sunday lunch we had at this pub! Roast Pork loin with all the trimmings. Unbelievably good. I thought the £13 odd price was on the high side for a pub main meal till it arrived. It gave Fat Olives a run foor their money on quality and taste, and if they... More
