Excellent Food!

The food here is amazing! We went at around 2 in the afternoon and it was still quite busy but I think that was due to all weather and it being the summer holidays! Service was a bit slow but we were in no rush and put it down to being busy. The food was lovely though which is a... read more

After an hour wait, our choice, was sat at a window seat, and ordered. Service was fine, friendly and what I expected of a chain restaurant. It was whilst sat eating or salads that I was put off big time. Only 20cm from our table was mould, cobwebs, flies and insects. Absolute filth, and so easy to clean. It really... More

I really enjoyed the free unlimited salad bar, although it ran out of Spanish potatoes and bread rolls and it took a while for these to be refilled. When our meals came out one of the vegetarian dishes had a pea with meat on it. The chicken fajita was hot and so crispy and flavourless that it was inedible. I... More

Arrived at 6.30 to beat the rush! Didn't work. Had a 20 minute wait but very efficiently managed with the buzzer. Came back to this great institution for the salad bar. We love it! Also had the combo and chicken this time very juicy. This can vary. Good service considering how busy they were. Main wait was to pay.

Stopped off here with my daughter on the way to Southampton. As a Harvester, it's pretty much the standard Harvester fayre. However, nice restaurant with range of olden buildings converted to Travelodge & pub. Food was absolutely fine, service great, and the usual salad bar on top. It was Friday evening, we were seated straight away. Although the place was... More

We do eat here quite a bit so thought it was time for a reveiw! Very busy when we arrived, had to take a pager and wait 30 mins for a table, however it was a beautiful evening so was nice to sit in the garden with a drink and wait for a table. When we got seated we had... More

Eight of us going on a cruise and stayed at the travel lodge and had a meal at the Harvester Friday 3rd July 2015 and after reading the comments from other visitors did not know what to expect. We were very surprised, it was a really good meal with excellent service, the tables were all clean and the salad bar... More

We ate here in on a sunny Saturday evening in July, sat in the pub garden. It was a pleasant experience with good food, decent service and super convenient for us as we were staying in the adjacent Travelodge. All in all good value.

One of the better Harvesters both with friendly very hardworking staff and well cooked food. We arrived exhausted after student house move & clean up, on busy Saturday early evening. Slight wait whilst table prepared then seated and immediately asked for drinks order. They have a bar here, but we only found out afterwards. Food was lovely, jacket potatoes lovely... More
