Nice restaurant shame about the pub

We were really happy with the great service we received on our recent visit to the restraint and despite having no booking and it being a very busy night a table was found for us very quickly. Our waitress was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble, sadly such a contrast to the bar that is... read more

my partner and my self visited the restaurant on Sunday 23 of August we was very pleased with the service and the food was fantastic wish I could say the same for the pub went in there for a couple of drinks before our meal and was met by the most miserable bar staff I have ever met a teenager... We have been to other Harvesters in the area but Ham Farm beats all. Staff friendly, salad very fresh unlike another harvester near by. We're very busy when we arrived but good service, food hot and tasty. Plenty of room between tables. Could not fault the service

We were seated immediately which was great and asked if we would like drinks. Service by our waitress was spot on but the salad bar was virtually empty and when I asked for a straw for my grandsons squash, which was bought out in a tall glass (hes two and a half), they had none! I then asked for a... More

I would not normally review a restaurant in a large pub chain, but I make an exception in this case as we were so impressed by the food and service here. My wife and I dropped in here at lunch time on a Saturday for a quick bite - with no expectations at all. We were shown to our table... More

Nice food, and helpful and pleasant staff, however shame about the fixtures and fittings. Tables sticky, cutlery blunt and not the cleanest I've come across, and the whole restaurant could do with a complete refurb. Decor dirty and VERY outdated. Would probably come back, as staff excelled, in spite of the environment.

You definitely get what you pay for here. It’s cheap and cheerful and relatively tasty. Went for a quick bite to eat with my mum and brother. It can be a bit hit and miss. I normally have the chicken and ribs combo. Sometimes the chicken and ribs are really well cooked (tasty and moist like this time) other times... More

Having eaten at many Harvester restaurants, The Ham Farm is easily the best. Although it can get busy and sometimes you have a wait for a table, the staff are very honest with timings and you never have to wait as long as the time given. The service is good and I've never had a problem with the food. Also,... More
