My husband and I stumbled upon this lovely pub and were very pleased we did. We received a lovely welcome from the landlady and the pub has a wonderful homely atmosphere. Although we only ordered sandwiches, the bread was to die for and they were beautifully served on wooden boards with delicious accompaniments. Highly recommended.

I've not been here for a good few years and ended up visiting on a Monday lunchtime as our third choice as not many pubs open on Monday (who knew?!) There were only a few locals in there and a couple of business men but the fire was on a atmosphere relaxed. We had a steak and onion batch roll... More

We visit the Bell and Crown every few months and always receive a warm welcome and hospitality. It is a pretty olde worlde pub with a lot of character. Graham is always welcoming and stops to have a chat. The food is always excellent. We had scampi and chips this visit and the chips were lovely chunky ones and crisp... More

Ate here twice since New Year from the 'special' lunch time menu. Good wholesome cooking; lovely homemade Pies, Fish & Chips, Roast Pork etc. but more upmarket than the normal Pub grub. Sticky toffee pudding to die for and Best chips ever!! Excellent value for money, can't be beaten anywhere else in Andover or surrounding area! Efficient and pleasant service.... More

Been here a few times, took a friend for lunch. I had fish and chips, something very moorish about the chips, best ive tasted. As alway food great, staff friendly and the thatched pub is oldy worldy, what more could you ask for

Recently met up with a friend for coffee here. Great service, friendly staff. The food smelt divine, although we were not eating at this time. Dogs are welcome. I found it to be a perfect atmosphere, complete with an open fire..

50 members and volunteers from the local charity Andover VIPs ( visually impaired people) enjoyed a superb Christmas lunch in a delightful local pub. Graham and all his staff are simply the best - delicious food, excellent service, lovely warm fires, what more could you want! Their meals are also extremely good value, we look forward to our next visit... More
