Very pleasant

My wife and I had dinner here on Thursday night. We'd often popped in for a quick lunch over the years and found it nice enough - responsive enough service, good food (pasta, pizza and salads mainly, although they do have steaks, fish etc.), all reasonably priced. This was the first night time... read more

Excellent food always well cooked, I nearly always have the fish from the specials board and it has never failed to please. The menu is Italian, but they do a great house burger if you don't fancy the usual Italian offerings. It is advisable to book especially for a Saturday evening as it does tend to get a few large... Booked a table for 4 of us on a Wednesday evening at 6pm and upon arrival only was our table and one large very rowdy drunken group, as its Christmas season we didn't mind as they all seemed to be enjoying themselves and they left shortly after we arrived. Ambience is overall lovely but a nice touch could have been... More

The restaurant looks impressive from the outside but inside felt quite cold. Good choice on the menu and not overly expensive although over £2 for a lime and soda seems expensive. The restaurant was busy but only had 2 staff serving which they did a good job of considering the amount of tables occupied and the number of guests. I... More

Perhaps the best restaurant in the town centre. Been here many times and will go back again and again. Food is great, menu is really good, and the staff are friendly. Also, not as expensive as you might think :)

Was here on news years day, the place was empty when we arrived at 5. We had a table of 8 and service was great. Food was really good as well, no complaints from anyone. Garlic pizza bread start is enough for 4 and tasty, recommend that. Between us we had pizzas, pastas and a burger. Great comfort food to... More

Went on the Sunday before Christmas, wouldn't have needed to book as plenty of room. Food good, service good (hope the waitress got home for Christmas with her long travels planned!). Not overpriced at all - would go there again if in the area.

We had booked for 6.30 due to three children (age 10 to 12) joining us for a pre Xmas get together. We ordered from the specials board 20 mins later told that they were not serving the meals on the board and that they were down a chef suddenly... Finally starters arrived at 7.35 over an hour... These were ok... More

I visited this restaurant with a friend pre cinema visit. The room is large and open with high ceilings, which means it is quite noisy even when not particularly full. We were placed next to a family with very noisy children and had to move right way. The service was very quick and we appreciated the fact they fed us... More

Dirty glasses, inconsistent food and rude staff. Pre ordered as well, you'd think they'd be prepared. Orders requested without mushrooms included mushrooms, deserts missing... a coffee order went round but missed people out and when they asked for coffee they had an abrupt response... get rid off the staff and start over.
