Good cafe food and friendly service. Need to manage tables better.

Came in with 2 kids because the food in the patisserie window looked delicious. We were not disappointed. They made us feel at home and do almost everything in half portions for the kids. Good tasty salads, sandwiches, soups etc... No complaints. Will come again, though one criticism. The... read more

Stopped here to get out of the rain for lunch. Had a panini and late - the coffee was absolutely fantastic. About £20 for a coffee and panini for two people. Well worth a try, and we will be back to try the lovely looking cakes.

Was recommended to go here and can see why. Great coffee, delicious looking treats. Nice to go off the beaten track in Winchester

Original decor and atmosphere in an age of coffee chains. Impossible to choose a cake though .... so many lovely ones to choose from.

Used to love this place. Had real character and a very continental feel as you entered. Liked the tables and chairs by the front door. Replaced by 4 bar stools that face the wall. The wall behind the counter is now pretty soul-less. a real shame as there is now little reason to wonder down to the bottom of town... More

Well placed as you walk into town from the multi-storey in Chesil St., the service is excellent and the range of pastries and other delicacies is unfortunately far too tempting. I agree with previous comments re seating though it probably means you can get an extra table or two into the dining area. An ideal place to relax after visiting... More

Consistent favourite cafe in WInchester to visit and have excellent cakes, pannini's and coffees. The cakes are fantastic (made on site), and all on a french patisserie style. Coffee is strong and tasty. The downsides are that the eating area is quite small, and probably a few too many tables crammed into the space. Although being at the end of... More

We've eaten at the Bridge Patisserie (or taken goodies away) a few times and never been disappointed. The only disappointment is when, as last weekend, we walk past already full and spy their delicious wares. (The brownies were particularly eye-catching on Sunday!)

We went on Sunday, our first visit since their refurbishment. We had hoped they would change the tables & chairs which we find uncomfortable - their shape may look neat & tidy when not in use but they are awkward - it is a pity they were not replaced when the refurbishment took place. Coffee used to be served in... More
