Always a mistake in the order. A really bad chinese cuisine. Food is too greasy, more than you can imagine a deep fried to be!

Decided to try here before seeing a show at the Lowry. We were offered the Buffet or the A La Carte and as the Buffet food was due to be put out in 5 mins we decided to go for that. It wasn't the largest Buffet in the world but there was a choice of 3 soups then about 6...

What an awful name for a restaurant for a start. "Pond quay" - enough to put you off without going in! I wish I had been put off, actually.
I don't think I've ever had such downright awful service as here! The waiters barely speak English and are almost unintelligible. One clearly did not understand our orders which led to...

Have eaten at this restaurant many times and keep coming back if at The Lowry.
My only experience is at the lunchtime buffet [12 - 3pm] which now costs £7.50 - but beware of the cost of drinks, I keep to Tea or a free glass of water.
The restaurant is quite large with over 50 tables. You are greeted...

Very clean toilets says everything, clean toilets clean food!! Staff extremely polite. Dose not look like it is Chinese or Cantonese but the food is authentic, very nice!

There is no consistency with both the food and the service.
The price for...

Have sampled this buffet a few times when at the Lowry. Due to a medium turnover of public, the food is not a massive selection, but for the price is OK. Not a place you would go to impress some one or for a romantic meal for two
First let me say that the prices on the website are incorrect/out of date and the children's price is no longer for children under 11, it is for children under 120 cm - I have never heard of children being penalised in a restaurant for being tall. Visited with 3 children, a 6 year old, an 8 year old and...

We visit every time we go to the Lowry. A great buffet lunch which has the best variety of starters. Lots of crispy duck, very tasty salt and pepper wings and ribs to die for. All kept hot, but not over loaded so that it is kept fresh. Main courses a bit limited but still a variety, nearly all chicken,...

Nothing fancy, great value buffet restaurant..food fresh and hot(not sat for ages) - loads of crispy duck and hors d'oeuvres. Wvery time we go to the Quays, we'll eat there - lunch time. Probably would go for a table for two for dinner tho.
