The service here is very friendly with plenty of staff all eager to please, if anything we were served rather too quickly, an usual comment I'm sure, but we were in plenty of time for the show and even after asking for a break before the desserts we had time for 2 coffees. The food, from a small but well... More

Having seen the reviews I booked a table as we were going to see a show. My initial disappointment was with the ambiance of the restaurant; more canteen than fine dining. We pushed our initial feelings aside as we were greeted by a friendly waiter who throughout the evening was very attentive - thank you Curt. We both opted for... More

A visit to the Lowry, restaurant and theatre has been a family tradition for many years, and it has never disappointed in either case. Lovely food, beautifully presented, an excellent bottle of wine, which we didn't finish at the time, but which the bar staff kindly popped in the fridge and left ready for us at the interval. . Everyone... More

We have twice had a pre-show meal here and enjoyed it both times. The menu, while a bit limited, was very interesting and the food good and well presented. The service was also very good without being overbearing. We love the Lowry and eating there certainly added to the whole experience.

The restaurant was all prepared for us and showed us to a prepared table, including a programme for the play we were to see. The speed of serving was good, presumably paced to the performance start. The food and drink were fine. Our table was still there for us at the interval, with coffee waiting.

Our children bought us theatre tickets for The Lowry as a Christmas present and we arrived mid afternoon so we could see Behind the Mask- a photo exhibition in the galleries. We hadn't booked anywhere to eat, naively thinking that as long as we didn't leave it too late-----. As we wandered around the shops at 5.15 we became aware... More

This restaurant is located in the Lowry Theatre building and is an excellent venue for a pre-theatre meal. It is, obviously, geared up for theatre goers and timings are arranged to suit. For those who like more leisurely meals it is possible to go back during the show's interval for coffee and, if requested, dessert. It is a small space... More

My husband and I had dinner here last night as part of our 'VIP Package' before watching an evening performance of 'Curious Incident' at the Lowry Theatre. We had travelled down to Salford from Lancaster and this was a lovely way to start off our evening. We began our three course meal with a glass of prosecco (included) and chose... More

We had the pre theatre dinner on Boxing Day. The service was very efficient, the food was lovely and we were allowed to eat leisurely without hassle. We went back in the interval and had dessert and drinks.
