Food all locally sourced, including a lot of their own produce, excellent choice whether eating from the a la carte or the table d hote.

Have eaten here twice in the past couple of months, last week sitting outside which added a great informality - inside is a little too serious. The owner is scatty and batty which is perfect, long live English eccentrics. The food is a dream, though last week's canapés were a tad random. Nice Sancerre. Yum. Chef swearing his head off... We have visited Corse Lawn House Hotel, on many occasions. We also stayed there, along with most of our family, after our wedding, which was held locally. The food is second to none, the rooms lovely and comfortable, and the staff are all charming and beyond helpful. Mrs Hine, Giles and everyone else, make this place an absolute pleasure, every-time!

This was a wonderful stay, booked through Groupon. At no point did I feel the lovely owners and staff were treating us any different or giving us any less of the perks of staying in such a beautiful place because we had paid less. The approach is impressive and it only gets better on the inside with a cosy reception... More

I would like to congratulate Mrs Hine on the excellent quality of the service in her hotel and the marvellous food she provided us with. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Proper tin of loose tea and strainer, coffee with shortbread biscuits plus beautiful bowl of fruit in the rooms. Immaculately clean, lovely old house with quality furniture and... More

Four of us had a delicious meal yesterday - the atmosphere was relaxing, the service faultless and the food of a high standard. We could not have asked for more!

What a pity our stay couldn't be extended in this magnificent hotel. Staff were welcoming, efficient and hard working with total commitment to customer satisfaction. Home produced food was both delicious and inviting, such a welcome change in these days of mass production! Thank you.. We will return.

The lounge and restaurant are very pleasant, house Chardonnay was good at £20, food was very good, I could have done with more vegetables, coffee and petit fours also good value and delicious. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. My only complaint would be creme brulee was straight from the fridge and overly sweet, the sugar brulee was not freshly... More

Quirky service, lovely setting (outdoors) but dated interior and not really very well laid out. Meal I had was average, but the use of good local ingredients, and local smokeries is to be applauded. However, the menu has a pretty dated feel and a suspiciously large amount of choice may be where food quality and execution are falling a little... More

Myself & my husband have frequented Corse Lawn numerous times, this time our son & his wife took us for Sunday Lunch. They had not been before and live in Richmond (London), our daughter in law is French and was very excited at the prospect of a cheese trolley!!! of which she was not disappointed. We were welcomed, sat by... More
