I would describe this plaice(sorry) as somewhere you will leave as a contented sole(sorry again) Ok jokes aside it's a great Restaurant in a lovely setting, maybe try it one sunny lunchtime after having a walk along the River Severn alongside it. The owner was very hospitable and also happy to advise and discuss the menu before we ordered. On... More

If you love fish, this is the restaurant of 1st choice for me. It's far far better than most of the fish restaurants in the South of France (and half the price!), really fresh fish, cooked brilliantly. Sally and her staff are very professional and always deliver a great product. Fish and Chips are superb and using Hake! Unbelievable good... More

A sImple, elegant dining room, with views across the Severn, excellent seafood, an interesting wine list, and informal but attentive service made this a memorable experience. Our fellow guests, many of whom were celebrating birthdays, including one centenarian, all seemed friendly and enjoying their lunches too, creating a really good atmosphere. As others have said, its not cheap - over... More

We visited this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday and had the 7 course tasting menu. The food was fantastic (especially the lobster and chocolate dessert) and the meal was really good value. The staff were really friendly, it was a great place to spend a lovely, sunny evening. We plan to return for lunch on a sunny day!

My wife treated me to a surprise lunch at the Old Passage Inn to celebrate my birthday. Using the sat nat we diligently followed the instructions, although at the time, it did feel as though we were driving down a single tarmac road to the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival, the restaurant was already starting to fill (booking in advance... More

Couldn't fault the food and service. We dined using a living social voucher so with add-ons had a wonderful meal for £100 for 2. Mid week it was a little lacking in atmosphere and echoey.

Having been sent a Voucher for this Restaurant from Joyce's ( my partners ) children in Canada. We thought we should investigate. So as the day began in beautiful sunshine a trip out for seafood seemed a good idea. It turned out to be a wonderful experience. On finding this delightful restaurant set right alongside the river with beautiful views,... More

On calling to reserve, I felt that the attitude was one of complete disdain. It was my fault for leaving it so late (I was told), And you'd get the impression that the voucher was a kiss of death for the restaurant. Why do it then!!! On arrival, the place is lovely, and certainly changed from years ago. The waitress... More

Still the best fish restaurant around. Service and food is fabulous. The menu eats like a dream and I could happily stay all afternoon and devour the whole lot. (The food, not the menu itself!) If you visit here you will not be disappointed. One of the hidden gems of the South West. (See my previous review of here for... More
