This is an amazing place tucked away in Arlingham on the bank of the River Severn. A wonderful location for dining and accommodation. Special breakfasts on selected dates to watch the Severn Bore. The dinner menu is extensive but 90% fish and the food is exceptional. Staff are very efficient and just lovely people. Can't wait to go back.

If you like seafood then this is the restaurant for you! We visited on Good Friday and had the 6 course taster menu. Each course was professionally presented and delicious. The quality of the food was excellent. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it's definitely true here. The only improvement I could suggest... More

We called in at 6.40 one evening on the off chance of a meal. We were advised they didn't start serving till 7.00 but invited us to sit with a drink and wait. We did this and our order was taken before 7.00. The food was excellent. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for and the... More

We have just returned from lunch at this great restaurant with views of the river Severn and superb food, wine & service. The a la carte menu is not cheap but reflects what is on offer & therefore good value for money with generous portion sizes but there is the option of a set menu on weekdays which works out... More

Travelling by the river Seven we came upon the Old Passage Inn However we were walkers and told that we were not welcome despite an almost empty dining room and reserved tables! Not even a cup of coffee was available

On a whim I decided to revisit the old passage pub after many decades away and discovered it had morphed into a most pleasant fish restaurant. We hadn't booked but were made welcome ..having planned only a simple pub lunch and with work to be done in the afternoon we merely sampled from the excellent menu...a shared platter , half... More

We came here for the Bore Breakfast. It was a three course breakfast for £25. We went and watched the Severn Bore first and then headed inside for a warming cup hot drink and yummy food. As soon as the Bore finished about 50 people descended into the restaurant. The system in place meant that we were served promptly and... More

I got recommended this restaurant about 10 years ago and it has taken to now to go there. What a fool I have been. Although a little biit dated in looks the actual quality of the fish, quality of the cooking by the chef was excellent. The front of house host was totally "Old School" she obviously enjoys what she... More
