This is our second visit to the restaurant and equally as fantastic as the last time! We had their tasting menu and it was an absolute delight, we particularly enjoyed the bisque, shellfish in saffron & Pernod cream and the lobster in garlic butter was a delight. We will most definitely be back and highly recommend it to anybody who... More

Today was our third visit to this restaurant it never fails to please. The quality of ingredients cooking and presentation is as good as any in this country. Quite outstanding for a little hotel close to the back of beyond!

We booked the 6 course tasting menu, never expecting the quality and taste of this menu, and the service was excellent. We started with an oyster each, then shell fish bisque, followed by mussels and clams, and the crab sandwich, which I think was the best for flavour, followed with scallop, and to finish half a lobster. The views of... More

We very much enjoyed the taster menu at The Old Passage Inn. Each course was more delicious than the last. Absolutely delicious.

We went here on a brilliant but very chilly January morning to watch the Severn Bore and then to have a pre-booked breakfast with friends at the Old Passage Inn. The table was ready with the first of many pots of coffee - the three course breakfast was wonderful and the service was courteous and efficient. The dining room is... More

I found this restaurant on the Internet, choosing it for a birthday lunch for my wife who loves shellfish. It is a bit off the beaten track but is a very straightforward route off the M5. It was a very quiet off season lunch session but we were made to feel very welcome. As it was a special occasion and... More

A lovely, congenial setting, overlooking the river severn and a great place from which to watch the famous severn bore (check dates carefully). A very good seafood menu, helpful staff and a reasonable wine list all go to making this an enjoyable visit.

We've had many visits to the Old Passage over several years and recently had exclusive use of the restaurant for an evening to celebrate our wedding. We were delighted that our 60 guests loved the food, the atmosphere and the staff. The accommodation was also great. We feel really luck that we've been able to dine at this special place... More

This is a seriously good restaurant which scores top makes on every front. The location is special, you seem miles from anywhere. The dining room is uncluttered and tables are well spaced. Service was relaxed and friendly, with informed advice about the superb range of choices of food and wine. And both were perfect, including cheese and deserts. This is... More
