we popped in to have a drink, and stayed for two and a half hours! had the best dinner prawns followed by liver and bacon, great menu with varied choice, veggies catered for and gluten free, nothing was to much trouble couldn't fault the food, good selection of wines, very relaxed and cosy atmosphere , we have to say the... Not impressed - booked a table a week in advance, only to be phoned two hours before our booking to be told that "they were not now open" - no explanation offered. REALLY not impressed. Whatever their problem is, customers deserve a better explanation than "we're now closed". Won't be rushing back to book again ....

Having seen the recent reviews on here I was a little concerned and nearly cancelled, I am so pleased I did not, We was greeted by friendly staff members, seated immediately, our food and drink orders taken in a timely manner. I highly recommend the half rack off ribs and the rump steak both well cooked and delicious. Well worth... More

My wife booked us in here for an evening meal prior to seeing a show at the Cliffs, it was a interesting experience to say the least. On entering the restaurant the first thing to hit you is the smell. Not of freshly cooked food being served up to eagerly anticipating customers, no, the smell of public toilets! Yes, you... More

I chose this restaurant to eat lunch prior to seeing a matinee at the Cliffs. As soon as we were seated we were told two of the main dishes were unavailable. It was a good 15 mins before we were approached, so we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. I wanted cod and chips - that was... More

I booked a table at Bojangles for a pre-show dinner at the Cliffs Pavillion in Westcliff-on Sea. First class service and excellent food. The staff are attentive, friendly and know how to smile! Pricing is very reasonable considering that they are next door to the theatre. The other reviews are rather strange in that there are adverse comments. We had... More

I rarely write a bad review. I'm easily pleased and understand the pressures that those dealing with the public face. But my experience at Bojangles last week was shocking. I'd pre-booked a table for 6pm on a Monday night prior to seeing a show at the Cliffs next door. The girl who took my call was aware of this. We... More
