I rarely write a bad review. I'm easily pleased and understand the pressures that those dealing with the public face. But my experience at Bojangles last week was shocking. I'd pre-booked a table for 6pm on a Monday night prior to seeing a show at the Cliffs next door. The girl who took my call was aware of this. We... More

Poor service by miserable waitresses , food was just about ok , nothing fresh about any of it , had salmon cakes which resulted in numerous trips to the toilet the next morning. We (4 of us) only ordered a mian course which took one and a half hours to arrive (!), so we decided to skip our teas and... More

We had a meal at this restaurant as we were seeing a show at the Cliffs Pavilion. For that it is great as it is so close to the theatre and you can ensure parking before everyone else arrives. The menu is ordinary and the ones we were given were tatty with some items scrubbed out in black pen. My... More

Been to lots of shows at Cliffs Pavillion and Bojangles always looks busy so thought it must be ok. How wrong! We had booked so we were seated straight away but then waited about 10 to be asked if we wanted a drink and then another 5 before our order was taken. People were seated next to us after we... More

We popped in for a beer before having dinner. Two ladies behind the bar: nice and chatty (we were 3 men and a woman). The service was friendly and welcoming, the beer well kept and served nice and cold. People around us were eating there as well - and from what I could see the food looked good.

I booked here before coming and was advised on the phone that food can take up to 40 minutes. We arrived around 6.35 and ordered fairly quickly within 10 minutes. Service This was good and fairly attentive, however our main didn't turn up until 7.45 and there was only a few tables in there. Food This was excellent, we had... More

Before visiting a show at the Cliffs Pavillion we went for a meal. Good value, good service and friendly staff.

I spent a weekend in Westcliff and happened to stumble upon Bojangles. I stopped in because they would serve drinks without needing to order a meal. I just had a glass of their house red wine, which wasn't horrible. The place was deserted except for two others at the bar. The bartender was helpful in giving me directions around Westcliff.

When we visited for lunch before a children's show there were only four other tables occupied. We ordered burgers, two children's meals and a pasta dish - after a 45 minute wait and asking the waitress how much longer our food would be, it came to the table very slowly. Two portions if the chips were almost cold, those given... More
