I came here for food with a group of about 20 people including children of different ages. We were all very well looked after and catered for accordingly (i.e I'm a vegan and they produced a choice of two starters and two mains for me!). I chose the Thai risotto for my main course and it was absolutely delicious. I... More

We had a party of 30 for afternoon tea on a busy Sunday afternoon and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The live music was a bonus and the views are amazing. The food was faultless and we will definitely be going back. (One tip, the scones have dried fruit in them so if you want plain ones you have to pre-order... More

The afternoon tea at sands is lovely with just enough food to fill you comfortably. It's £9 a person including 4 slices of sandwich each, a slice of cake, scone and a cup of tea. They charge £1.50 extra for unlimited tea. You are given a menu with the choices of the cakes available that day. The carrot cake was... More

We went to celebrate a family silver anniversary. The food was nice, but better than that the staff are wonderful. Our party included 2 children under 3 and a 6 and 8 year old. The waiting staff were great with the kids and very patient and understanding when they ran riot around the restaurant at the end of the evening.... More

Had a terrible lunch! The food was tasteless and clearly most of it was brought in! Been here a few times, and the specials rarely change, especially in the summer, there is nothing "special" about them!! The service. Well, where do I start, the so called manager, is rude and very loud, you have to wait ages for below average... More

I used to love coming here for lunch, dinner, coffee, a glass of wine etc for any reason but I am really disappointed that they have significantly reduced their menu. No pasta, pizzas, panninis. Really limited. Live music on Sunday's is too loud. We went there at 3:30 on a Sunday and they had run out of roast dinners so... More

Perfect location! Glorious food! We had few Christmas partirs there and all were very happy wirh menus and quality of food. So decided to have a go with my friend and we were very happy! I had Crispy Duck Salad for main course and would love to eat that every time there. Service was outstanding. Thanks
