This wasn't our first choice but they could accommodate us with a one year old baby. A high chair waited for us on arrival. The service was good and the food was very good, though my other half said his stake was tough. I had the duck breast and enjoyed it very much. We were sorry we had to cut... More

Great downstairs bar, comfy sofas and wooden floor. Upstairs restaurant is candlelit, welcoming, airy and charming with fresh flowers on wooden tables. The menu felt a little autumnal, in August, but then the weather was chilly and rainy outside. Mastercheffy, in a good way. Modern classics included a correctly cooked dish of scallops with black pudding, wafer thin pancetta and... More

Enjoyed our recent meal at the Mews. The staff were helpful, even charging me for a Premier Cru Chablis, when we had their standard Chablis. So check your bill!! The management have tried to produce a retro look with old oak dining tables and old chairs and for me one that was impossible to sit up on, I kept sliding!... More

Surroundings are a bit strange, nothing glossy here but the food is excellent and the service great.

Very nice little restaurant and very nice dining experience. Well done! We had roast dinner on Sunday for 4 people. Everything spot on and prices are very good for a value!

Usually just use this place for a pint after work, however I decided to take a client for lunch, so have a cheeky burger....wow ! Nicest burger I have had in a long time and great portion or chips, and all for a very reasonable price. Can't think of a better place in town

Visited at the weekend for an evening meal with my partner. Had a pleasant cocktail while waiting for our table which was delicious! Food was incredible, staff informative and helpful. Overall a great place. Highly recommended.
