Expensive (though ASK is) and rude

It's an Ask. You get what you expect. But they aren't cheap and so we shouldn't allow them to get away with rude comments or dismissive attitudes.

There's quite a few Italian restaurants in Hornchurch and I've been to all but one of them. I went to Ask not expecting much above average due to being a chain however I was surprised by how tasty my meal was. Both courses were flavoursome and the Pollo Milanese was very moist with a nice mushroom sauce, and seemed like... More

We just popped in for a late lunch today and really enjoyed our meal. It's not our first visit but I think it was a new menu. I had the hot almond nibbles while I waited for my lovely pizza main. Hubby had bruschetta and then sea bass. For dessert I chose the special - hot olive oil and pistachio... More

I'm not usually a fan of this type of chain restaurant & only went because friends had a gift card that was about to expire & invited us to join them. What a pleasant surprise right from the start. Welcomed by pleasant, friendly and well presented staff & immediately taken to our (reserved) table. Menus arrived without delay & we... More

Returned here after a couple of years, mainly due to the 40% discount being offered! Was not disappointed by the food, lovely breads to start followed by salad and lasagne. For dessert I tried the olive oil and pistachio cake...best cake ever! My partner had the eton mess and there were no complaints there. Excellent value considering the voucher only... More

Food was good, service good but the lighting is too bright and it feels a bit soulless. Was quite empty when we went which didn't help. Some background music might help.

Me & a Girl - friend of mine wanted to catch up so we decided on ASK for our meal. We were treated warmly and made to feel welcome so did all the ordering etc...then the food arrived. Now I have to say I had a Calzone for my main with Chocolate Cake for desert (all of which was tasty,... More
