Went in at lunch time with my old man. Friendly service. After placing our food order. Waited about 10 minutes , That was acceptable as they werent very busy. The food is good but in my opinion a little pricey. I had Burger and a few chips. My old man had fish and chips. He had half a pint of... More

-Service time for food (& drink for that matter) is ridiculous! Only 1 member of staff behind the bar on a Sunday evening is not good enough. -Extremely rude staff with no customer service skills whatsoever! -Stingy portion sizes. Don't waste your time & money- I certainly won't be again!!

We popped in on the off chance on a Friday night & were able to get a table! (by the looks of it this place gets very busy so advisable to book) We had tried to eat in a place up the road & was rudely turned away as they were fully booked (not one person in the place!) I'm... More

I reviewed this pub last June and praised the friendly service. Update: forget what I said. We took the kids, sat in a gloriously-hot garden, ordered 'two mains for £9.99', and enjoyed our drinks. Food came quickly, was tasty (mac cheese), we ordered the optional £2.50 dessert. Wanted choc instead of vanilla ice cream. Told by bar staff, rather snootily,... More

We have eaten here 3 times in the last 6 months all for lunch. Generally food is of a very good standard and value for money.

Friendly greeting from bar staff, served with drinks fast an efficiently. We found a table sat and perused the extensive menu before settling on our choices. After ordering food arrived fairly rapidly - all ok so far. The jacket potato ordered was fit only... More

Have been severals times, staff and food fabulous don't know how they do the food for the price. They have a quiz night on Tuesdays, was a bit worried as there was 10 of us, yet again had a laugh with the quiz and it did not effect the service or food in any way.
